Came here with a group of friend for a gathering between Christmas and the New Year. I chose the pub as i always enjoy a pint or two when i drop in from time to time but had never eaten here previously. The food i ordered was disappointing at best. I opted for the Ham, Egg and Chips with the... More

I have visited the Reindeer many times and it is a welcoming, cosy pub in the centre of Banbury. Highly recommended to all :)

Nice food but a rip off. Do not eat here as you will leave feeling hungry! Loads of people being turned away at 2pm as they decided they weren't serving food anymore, despite the 3pm serving time on the menu. The food was tasty but such a small portion. Won't be returning here.

Delighted with service and food quality provided for a group of 23. In addition there was a good choice of 4 real ales on offer, which were in excellent condition. Staff were cheerful and helpful

Calm, music free environment with lots of interesting historical memorabilia around the place. Very friendly and helpful staff whose service could not be faulted. Home made cream of vegetable soup was lovely. Venison burger with home made chunky chips was also faultless. Chilled out ambience that also contributed to an enjoyable eat out. Would go again.

We dropped in for a quick drink at this well known pub with friend. Whilst there we decided to grab a bite to eat. The food was excellent & the service very good. Well worth a visit.

If you want a reasonable Sunday Lunch , in a nice warm pub, then don't come here !!! Staff were welcoming, beer was good but expensive! A Sunday Lunch was £12 , a small portion was £8 , the difference was one roast potato and another carrot ! No extra meat !! When I asked what the difference was ,for... More

Good Beer but not the most pleasant of pubs inside; often crowded and difficult to get a seat - partly due to the layout of the place; on the pricey side

Yet another small pub in Banbury that has great selection of cask ales and other beers on tap! The atmosphere is fun and the staff are great to non-locals.

Lovely Olde world pub with an excellent day time menu. Well located near shops. Very pleased with our lunch time visit.

Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn is the oldest public house in Banbury. Situated halfway down Parsons Street, in the town centre no visit to Banbury is complete without a visit to Ye Olde Reine Deer. A Hook Norton Brewery pub ensures the offering of mainstay Hooky beers and a seasonal guest, its even the breweries 'flagship' pub. The pub itself is over 400 years old and steeped in history and local folk law. The Globe room a hidden gem to the rear of the property used to be a common room for travelling gentry and is still clad in the original oak panelling, an incredible find and talking point.

We serve food 12pm-3pm, 6pm-9pm Monday-Saturday and 2pm-3pm on Sunday. Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn has always had an impeccable reputation for great pub food and extremely well kept ale. We always aim to meet and exceed these very high standards.
