We were looking for a pub to meet halfway for lunch. Sunday lunch was a set menu, I had the Roast Beef which which great! I especially liked the generous sized Yorkshire pudding! Definitely worth booking as it appeared to be fully booked

We often eat here. Real food, beautifully cooked and presented at very realistic prices. I would highly recommend it.

We booked lunch for 8 people from 4 generations and I can honestly say it was one of the best roast dinners I have ever eaten. Everything was completely delicious and everyone loved it....from 5 to 80 years old. Well done.

A quaint old stone building run very well by the resident tenants. The food is excellent and at a reasonable price. 3 or 4 real ales on tap, all kept to a high standard. Most welcoming bar staff / landlord. This pub is a little...More
