I’ve heard good things about this place so I tried it out for my first time on a Monday evening, and let me tell you, this won’t be my last! Firstly I must say how clean this place is, no surprise of their 5 star...health and and hygiene rating. You can watch your food be prepared over the counter, and was served up in no time. The staff over the counter were lovely and showed an interest speaking to me whilst I waited. I’m not sure what the fish trade is like on Mondays but this place seemed pretty busy whilst I was there, around 5 different groups of people popping in whilst I was waiting. I think they also do deliveries. I was ordering on behalf of myself and a few friends, we ordered some chicken balls, sausage, a few pies, some fish and of course chips. I’m still surprised at how little this cost me because the food is clearly fresh. Brilliant quality (in particularly the fish) I will certainly be back soon. Best chip shop in Ashford.

Didn’t visit the restaurant but ordered online , Not long moved to Ashford and have tried a few other places - this knocks the rest out the park ! 10/10 great portion sizes and very tasty - not greasy.

Such tasty fish and chips…

Lovely team and gorgeous food… ohhh sneaky sausage and chips before home so tasty. Found it by accident as dad fancied some chips, and though let’s give it a try! The food was fantastic and the people in there lovely too

Marvellous food.

Once again had takeaway food from this establishment. Sausage and chips X 3 excellent. Cheeseburgers and chips X 2 excellent. Fishcake X 1 excellent. Jumbo sausage and chips X 1 excellent. Great food. Great prices. Keep it up.More

How not to cook fish!

Sorry guys but this was the worst fish experience ever. We ordered online and I was early to collect so the fish was not hanging around. I presume as I had a short wait the fish was being cooked as I waited, how wrong could...I be. At £7.45 for a piece of fish I would have thought the frier would be able to cook it to at least a reasonable standard, sadly this was not the case. The large cod was so over cooked the only edible part was about two inches at the fat end, the other 80% was awful, in fact it reminded me of school dinners in the 70’s, which ain’t a good memory. My wife had a small cod, which although not as bad as mine, was still very over cooked. This is the only review I’ve done but am so disappointed I felt compelled to air my feedback. So, sorry Catch but couldn’t recommend you on this experience.More

Awesome fish and chips. Yum!

Worth the wait!

We had been waiting for the weekend to arrive so that we could order from Catch. We decided to order directly with them and collect, after a couple of recent delivery courier issues, and we were pleased that we did, as it gave us a...chance to look inside and get a feel for the place. Very bright and welcoming and most importantly sparkly clean! Staff busy working away, but friendly and welcoming to those who came in as well. As you can see by responses on TA thé management are active and passionate about the business, and this clearly passed down through the team. The food really is worth the 5* ratings given on Trip Advisor. This is good quality fish and chips at a reasonable price. Portions are beyond huge and we have enough food left to warm up a full meal again tomorrow! Whoops, we will bear this is mind with our next order. Meals - No complaints from anyone in the house! All VERY full and all pleased with the taste. Even my hard to please husband said it was the best fish and chips he’s had in a long time! Curry sauce - Like real curry sauce from the Indian takeaway, not anything like the usual version offered in other takeaways. Minted peas - again nothing like other takeaway, but in a good way. Best battered cod ever!! No lie

I went to catch on a lunch break with all intention to grab a meal deal from Tesco next door. Being new to the area I spotted catch and thought why not grab a more substantial lunch and boy was I not disappointed. The fish...was so fresh and flaked into huge steak like pieces, hands down the best fish I have ever ordered from a chippy!! Would 1000% recommend this place to everyone. Going downhill

This used to be the best place around here for fish&chips, but the last couple of times we have been here the food has not been as good. The chips were hard and dry and the fish was greasy and tastless, and the batter soggy....Such a shame, going to have to find another fish and chips shop.More
