Visited this little gem again and top rate would recommend higher than 5* if we could
we’ve been coming here fir around 18 years as live nearby.
It is the best we’ve ever known it and cannot wait to return.
The venue is perfect, clean and...the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Food was excellent between us we had a-lot off the menu and everyone was more than impressed.
We were all to full to enjoy one of their puddings so retired out to the river side and had a ripple to end the evening beautifully.
Thank you all fir a lovely time. See you soon!More
Just eaten at the Swan Inn, what an amazing meal fillet steak to die for. Perfectly cooked and presented, the ambiance of the restaurant and extremely friendly owners and staff made it a most pleasant evening.. There’s a lovely menu to choose from with generous...portions and quality food.
A must to visit and much worthy of support. The Landlord, his partner and the staff are lovely.More
The staff were very friendly. There was an excellent choice of classic pub meals on the menu. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. We struggled to finish our meals, as there was so food. We sat indoors which were very...pleasant surroundings. Outside there appeared to be a nice garden with eating on the banks of the river SoarMore

The pub has been closed since the beginning of August, following a police incident. I have lived in Little Chart for 30 years, this is the first time it has EVER been shut since we moved here, quite why Enterprise Inns do not put in a temporary manager is beyond belief, as it has now been shut for 4 months, it is now the middle of December, it will now probably still be shut over Christmas/ New Years another first!. Back in June/July the previous erratic opening hours started, so the few people using it gave up trying to go there,we just hope it WILL re-open and be run properly after the last fiasco with the previous landlord who we honestly thought was going to run the place properly, but in effect lasted a mere 8 months the shortest serving landlord EVER, the problem with our pub is 95% of the people who live in the village have never set foot in the place,or go down there on New Years Eve as a one off,and it relies on passing trade, the pub is currently with a TO LET sign outside and coupled with the fact if you look at the Enterprise Inns pub search and their totally unrealistic "potential" turnover prediction of £214,000 per annum, over £4,000 per week are they serious? that will never happen in a million years, I know, I have lived here for 30 years and my wife and I have been the only people sitting in the place at 9 'o' clock on a Saturday night on countless occasions. We have always supported our pub since we moved here and we always will. I just hope the next landlord /tenant if there will be one (and we have seen so many come & go I have lost count) can actually run the place properly. There are rumours it is about to re-open for Christmas. We will see. To all the residents of Little Chart- support your local pub,use or LOSE it forever!
