A real pub with bags more . Dog friendly as well as people friendly and oodles of charm and character. Unpretentious with lots to interest. Wood fired Pizza, real cider and local ales as well! In an idyllic spot. The owners have worked very hard to create this little gem. Cant recommend it enough!

Friendly. Beautiful pub with great and eclectic decor. The view from the garden is unsurpassed in Kent. And I love to take my child here.

Quirky place and the decor is cool, just a massive shame about the landlady. Unhelpful, grumpy and just plain rude. Don't even think about taking kids in there. Seems like they brought the place for the building and do not really want to even run a pub. Food is crap to non-existent....... Pretty safe to say that friends and family... More

After closing for 18 months the Batts is now open under new and enthusiastic management. It's a pub again, not a restaurant, only open currently Thursday to Sunday. Excellent beer - Gadds from Ramsgate. Pizza from a wood-fired oven. Baguettes too.The phone number's changed - now 01233 750083. A good local pub with excellent beer at reasonable prices, and a... We visited with friends on a Saturday evening for dinner celebrating a birthday. The ambience is just right. Country pub combined well with a restaurant. Wonderful food and excellent friendly service from all concerned. Would recommend highly.

Dined here with my wife for dinner on Saturday 4 October 2014. This establishment is a proper olde worlde English pub with a French restaurant in the dining room next to the bar area. It is not easy to find the pub as it really feels in the middle of nowhere. We ate here due to it's entry in the... More

This has to be by far one of my favourite restaurants. Beautiful location, exquisite food, friendly and welcoming staff. Have enjoyed many occasions here and would highly recommend if you're looking for a quality dinner in a unpretentious welcoming establishment. Reasonably priced food when taking into consideration the quality. Overall it is a hidden gem nestled within Bodsham, ready to... More
