Popped in here for lunch after a long walk from Brighton. Had pork pie and piccalilli; humus, carrot and caraway sticks and a portion of yummy home made chips plus freshly made apple crumble cake, a glass of wine and two fizzy drinks. The pie was a bit under seasoned and the pastry could have been crispier, but otherwise everything... More

I can't give a bad review because when I visited for breakfast I was served one of the nicest sausage sandwiches I have ever eaten in a cafe. My request to have it served with an English mustard and marmalade combination did not even raise an eyebrow. The service from out waitress was confusingly bad though. When she first came... More

What a beautiful experience. Took mum and daughter here for high tea upstairs in the function rooms. We were greated curteously and shown to our seats, offered Prosecco or elderflower with sparkling water. The food was of a high standard and more than plenty for 3. Tea was served more than once. A fantastic singer sang songs fitting of the... More

We came here for Mother's Day which was ruined for us by unhelpful staff. We were placed at the table by the doors leading to the loos. The front door was open and we were sitting in draught. We asked if the door could be closed which they did but then opened it again later. When we asked to be... More

situated inside the building that houses the cinema, this is a nice tea room and generally not so well known as the eateries on the pier just opposite (it overlooks the beach). Good tea and cake. Friendly staff. Average prices.

This little place has a great atmosphere, with friendly helpful staff and a great selection of food and drinks on offer. The decoration is great with a fascinating collection of vintage paraphernalia. The knives and forks come served in an old metal teapot and the bill even came up inside an old copy of a Collins French phrase book.I was very impressed... Stopped in here for brunch as it looked nice from the outside, were not disappointed! Very unique and quirky atmosphere with all it's vintage wares, mis-matched furniture and cutlery. Highlight was when my mug of tea came in a half-pint glass tankard! Food was delicious and well prepared, was had brunch here (smoked salmon/scrambled eggs, porridge, toast, tea, coffe etc)... More

We stopped off here for tea and cake and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were made very welcome and we were served promptly. Cake portions generous and tasty...all homemade and very moorish. Loved the faded gentility of the decor with the mix and match china crockery. Although we did not have a lot to eat we were not rushed and it... More

A Sunday afternoon stroll into Worthing from Lancing ended up in us visiting this adorable little tea room for afternoon tea and it was definitely worth the walk! We were greeted by friendly staff and fabulous memorabilia from days gone by. From the fresh flowers on the table to the vintage crockery and cutlery, I just adore this place. Our... More
