What a lovely breakfast, can't say I've actually visited the place but I did have it delivered and I was surprised how good the quality was, having worked in food service for many years and sampled produce from many different suppliers the sausage and bacon...was indeed very tasty, typical breakfast fair but all very well sourced and cooked. Ren's Kitchen catered our wedding at South Stoke Barn in September 2023, and they made the day an absolute dream. Throughout the planning process Ren was very communicable and helpful, he had answers to every question and always followed up phone calls with emails, and...was checking in consistently. On the day the whole team helped to set up the space perfectly, and ensured the day ran very smoothly. Kelly was a fantastic help on the day, she regularly checked in with my husband and I, making sure we had drinks and that everything was going well! Not only is the service brilliant but the food itself was sensational. Ren helped to make a menu that suited my pescatarian lactose-intolerant husband, and the food was to die for!! We cannot thank Ren and the team enough for making wedding planning a stress-free experience, and for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. We are SO happy we picked Rens Kitchen to be our wedding caterer. Our event manager, Molly, delivered an exceptional service from start to finish. She really listened to our requirements and used her initiative to recommend dishes that we wouldn't necessarily have thought of....She even honoured the original quote we'd been given a year prior, despite price increases, and didn't charge us for our second tasting! We chose the family sharing style BBQ menu for our wedding, and were thrilled to bits with the flavours, quality and quantity of the food. Our guests wouldn't stop complimenting everything from the succulent chicken, to the halloumi skewers and of course the beautiful desserts (make sure you try the chocolate Guinness cake, it's a must!) We had a bit of a family disaster the day before my wedding with my mum dislocating her shoulder directly outside Rens Kitchen cafe....! But Molly was so kind, offering to take my mum to A&E, and bring her tea and cake while she was waiting to go. Her thoughtfulness was much appreciated in this time of need. On my wedding day, the whole catering team were incredibly hard working, professional and punctual. I cannot fault them. So, thank you Rens Kitchen for making our day SO special and giving us the best catering experience ever! & a special big thanks to Molly for being so resilient & professional under pressure (I know there were a few testing times..!) and for pulling out all the stops. We will be (and have already been) recommending you to everyone we know!!!More

Fantastic job by the team at Ren's! After some initial concerns over slow communication prior to the day, we were all sincerely impressed with both the quality of the food and the service. They circulated the drinks and delicious canapes well ensuring all guests had...the opportunity to eat and drink. They were excellent with our special requests for vegans and were accommodating with our speeches, which flowed with our food courses beautifully. One of our guests is a head chef at a London restaurant and he said it was the best food he's ever had at a wedding! Honestly over the moon with both quantity and quality of the food as well as the service. I'd fully recommend them for weddings or other big events in future! 5 stars isn’t enough for this review. Rens Kitchen recently catered for my daughters wedding at Cissbury Barns. Ren and his staff are so professional, but friendly and approachable. The food was absolutely amazing from canopies, main course and desserts to fish and chip cones....I’m am still getting such positive feedback about the wedding catering. Not only was the food outstanding, Ren is the most charming and charismatic man, he came and mixed with the guests, nothing was too much trouble. Where do I start... For me this all comes down to Molly. From day one she made me feel so important and listened to. She was there every step of the way even when I was just having a freak out about something totally unrelated...to food! We had lots of great comments from guests on the food and even though there may of been little blips Molly came to the rescue calmly and professionally. Ren's Kitchen catered our wedding in early August at South Stoke Barn. The team were amazing from start to finish, right from the taster session months in advance, all the way to the end of the evening on the day. Molly and the team worked...so hard on the day and it all went absolutely flawlessly. The canapes were delicious and we had so many compliments about the wedding breakfast being the best wedding meal guests had ever had! We opted for the showstopper pork, which included absolutely huge plates of pork, plus prawn skewers and jerk chicken, with sides of potatoes and coleslaw, followed by delicious dessert. The team also served our reception drinks (we provided the drinks and they provided all fruit for pimms etc), table wine and prosecco, and served our wedding cake. They provided our evening food (fish and chip cones, which unfortunately I was too full from the wedding breakfast to get to try, and i will always regret it!!) and our bar as well. They cleaned up so thoroughly at the end of the day, you wouldn't have even known they'd been there. Everything ran seamlessly on the day and I could not fault them in any way! They were so reasonably priced as well and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you so much to Molly and the team for everything!More

We hired Ren's Kitchen as our caterers for our July 2023 wedding. I can't recommend them enough - from the initial meeting & tasting, to the organisation and service on the day, we couldn't have been happier. Molly and the team were SO kind and...approachable and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Our day was truly perfect and Rens kitchen completed it. The food was AMAZING, my mouth is currently watering just thinking about it. Every single dish was beautiful presented and tasted unbelievable. Everyone loved the family bbq style we had during the day, we had...so many comments on it. The fish and chip cones were also delicious too and thank you Kelly for actually placing one in my hand as I don’t think I would have actually got one with all the chatting I was doing. Kelly was incredible from start to finish, from the moment I met her just before I was about to walk down the aisle her kindness showed straight away with the simple things of offering to hold my dress/vail and from the moment I’d honestly felt like I’d known her for years. Though out the day she constantly checked in to make sure I was ok/happy with all the food extra and you were just truly amazing!!! We had Ren's Kitchen cater for our wedding dinner last month and it was absolutely amazing. Our primary contact, Molly, was very attentive, helpful and super efficient; she guided us through the whole process over many months and gave us suggestions whenever needed. Ren's Kitchen...were very kind to offer us a free tasting even before we confirmed the booking. The food was to-die-for! The meat dishes were divine and the pescetarian and vegan counterparts were exceptional. Ren's Kitchen ability to appeal to a variety of diets without compromising on the quality was what made us decide on them. On the day, the Ren's Kitchen team were brilliant. They took care of everything, from the welcome drinks, to the sit-down dinner and the clearing up. They all worked in such a seamless manner that we did not have to worry about a single thing ourselves. They knew exactly what to do and when!
