Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food what more could you want. Had nachos for starters and wasnt stingy with the cheese like most other pubs. Steak for main cooked exactly to liking. No room for dessert im afraid. Shall definatley return.

Visited for 2 for £12 meal, somewhere different to try. Never again, the meal was awful, simple fish and chips was not cooked very well. Cheap chips. Even the drinks were not acceptable.

We have taken The Old Mitre back to a classic family pub restaurant and carvery experience.
