We stopped for Sunday lunch after being told about this pub in our local. We must say that after finding it we were not disappointed. The place is jam packed with all sorts of knick knacks / costumes / books / war uniforms / toys...More
difficult to explain but great ambience and most unusual food great, two people had lamb shanks and enjoyed their meal i had chicken and leek pudding ,with suet pastry really lovely,
Enjoyed our meal but went mainly to spend the afternoon looking at all their quirky collection of well...everything under the sun! Really worth a visit.
What a quircky,wonderful place. Is like stepping back in time with all the memorabilia stacked, planned or unplanned is debatable, and the atmosphere is incredible as is the food. No cards - cash only - and is good for it..There is so much to see...More
