Passing through area and looking for a country pub for standard fayre. Beautiful, peaceful village with 16th century pub selling all the usual basics you'd expect in a friendly and unpretentious setting. Recommended.

The home-made meals are delicious and at good prices. The service is brilliant, the staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant. Can't wait to have lunch in the garden when the warm weather arrives! Make sure you try the home-made bread!

The typical 'english pub' Very welcoming. I understand the beers are a splendid selection. Food is great pub grub. Nothing fancy, honestly and enthusiastically cooked.
