Lovely family lunch at The Chequers last weekend. Service was excellent and food absolutely delicious. My children ate more than I have seen them eat in months! We all left very full and happy. Oh and even the dog enjoyed himself, great all round!

Despite the current Covid climate this pub felt very safe and also had such a friendly atmosphere. Though we only went in for a drink the smell of the Moules Frites was soooo good, we’re going back to eat next week.

Catching up with good friends during this difficult time we had the most delicious Sunday Lunch at The Chequers Inn. A home cooked roast & yummy puddings in a pretty cosy pub while still keeping everyone safe and at a distance, a perfect autumn Sunday.

Lovely lunch today at the Chequers, open again after the lockdown. The changes to the service are impressive, with more staff very visible and checking on people regularly, so people don’t need to go to the bar to order drinks etc. We got our drinks...More
