Walked n for a mid week dinner. Immediate thought the menu was pricey but got good value for money. Informal service, excellent quality food. Really good.

Great service and food. A 'must' if you are visiting Tavistock. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner - all delicious.

We decided to have breakfast out this morning and found this amazing place. The full English and eggs Benedict were fabulous. The service was just great. We will be returning for an evening meal very soon.

Love this place, always friendly and the food is brilliant! Good value for money even if you only go there for a simple lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere and lovely setting.

Centrally located and pleasant ambiance. Food was good as well with a great wine list, with a tiny nuance for the cocktails, but we may have just been unlucky.

This place was recommended to us by a pub just up the road that wasn't serving food at the time. Since, we've been here about four times (my mother in law enjoys the drive into Tavistock.) Over the past year(ish) we've not had a bad meal. A slightly peculiar crumble once, but not bad. The steak is lovely, but pricey... More

Food was good. Service was slow. Prices were high. Food was all well cooked and decent flavours. Service was slow - as a group we had two courses and were there three hours. Main course with an alcoholic drink, a soft drink and a coffee came to £26.

Ate here for lunch as a party of six and we all enjoyed our lunch. The variety of dishes for meat eaters was very good, terrible for vegetarians but I had the soup which I enjoyed. Staff were friendly, helpful and service was quick. Well worth a visit if your not a veggie :)
