Only been here once, for our wedding anniversary. Service was poor, food was not what I thought it would be. Very very disappointed. Won't return.

Have eaten here a few times now when we are in Ross on wye for a fishing trip. My friend and I both agree that it would be hard pressed to find a tastier chinese meal. Absolutely superb.

Just one of the best Chinese meals ever. We had crispy duck, which was to die for, just cannot compliment it enough. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant a delight to eat in. We took friends from Australia and Netherlands, and they said it was the best Chinese meal they had come across. it really made... More

I'm sorry to report a disappointing second visit. We're not often drawn back to the same restaurant unless its in our home town but we enjoyed our first visit to the China Boy Jo so we thoughts we'd give it a second visit. The place itself is nice and clean the staff friendly and welcoming. The white cotton table cloths... More

An old favourite, been coming here since 2005 not a lot has changed, well except the staff, the food is reasonable, the service is ok, the portion size could be better for the money you pay, but overall it's an ok Chinese, and considering other options in the area still a better bet

I have joined Trip advisor today just to write this review. I was apauled with the service that my fellow diner and I received this evening. My boyfriend is very well traveled and always makes excuses for others behaviour or poor service that he receives but this evening he decided to stand up for himself and complain that his food... I'm so very disappointed in China Boy Jo's. I used to come here every Friday night with 4 friends as we all really rated this place. It used to be a friendly welcoming top quality restaurant, what happened? I was very excited to be passing through Ross on Wye and had promised my fiancé a treat as I knew this... More

Me and and my partner both love a Chinese, we found China Boy Jo to be very over priced. The food was okay but the portion size was quite small and wasn't to our taste on a plus the drinks were very cheap. The hospitality was average overall would not recommend.

Have previously eaten in the restaurant a few times and enjoyed the food so thought we'd try the takeaway. We had the meal for two, which at £33 is not cheap, and not particularly good value. Not much flavour, other than very salty, disappointingly average. Maybe just a poor choice on our part.
