Called here for lunch on our way north from South Wales. The pub was quiet but the landlord could not have been more helpful. The food was freshly cooked and delicious, friendly staff and quick service. I would certainly go again and recommend it highly.

Coming back from the Midlands, poped in for quick snack, great food great hosts, highly recommend. The new owners are really trying to give this pub a great name for good honest food, our lunch was excellent!! and great value.

Popped in here Friday lunch time. The new landlord/lady, only been there 7 weeks, have done a great job so far. Hot, fresh food. A good portion, and very tasty. Beer was good. Prices fair. The log fire was a welcome blessing. Landlord and landlady were super friendly, and created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I think this place will get... More

Heard The Cross Keys had re-opened and called in for a bite to eat, we were made to feel at home by John & Mandy. Food was excellent and well priced. Good luck to you both and will see you soon.

Visited the Cross Keys Inn today and it was a delight. Food was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome by the landlord who explained he has only recently taken over the pub. The fire was lit and kept the place very cosy. I definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Popped in to the Cross Keys Inn for a late lunch on our way back to South Wales from visiting family in Yorkshire. We were greeted and made to feel very welcome by the newly incoming landlord/landlady and kept warm by a well fuelled large log burner. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced, and the service great. We... More

As a great meeting point between the Midlands and South Wales eight of us ate lunch here today. Owners are new but explained that this was the case and that service may be a little slow. However, we were not in a rush and so this was not an issue. In fact, the owners went above and beyond to ensure... More
