The Grainstore Brewery Tap opened its doors in September 1995 and today is recognised as one of the best brew pubs in Britain. The combination of superb beers, brewed on the premises, and a traditional pub setting has proven to be a winner, earning the accolade of The Good Pub Guide 'Own Brew Pub of the Year' on no less than four occasions in 2003, 2011, 2014 and now 2016. With regular live music, including Jazz, Blues, Rock and little bit of Pop, a whole host of traditional pub games such as Bottle Walking, Darts, Bar Billiards and Giant Jenga, regular Quizzes, promotions and Comedy Nights to occasionally, blind tastings, there is always something to see or do. You won't leave here hungry. Good pub food. Excellent fish and chips and gammon. Good beer too! Really good value as well, especially if you take advantage of their special offers.

Have attended a couple of events here which have been enjoyable but never feel they have adaequate seating given the quantity of visitors. The food is pleasant and quite good value for money but the drinks especially the wine are very overpriced.More

First visit for lunch with family, great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and the food was great . Good size portions and good value .If you fancy trying somewhere a little different I would recommend and they obviously brew their own beer !

Hi Kirsty, apologies for the delayed response. Sorry, but all of our cask beer contains gluten. Our bottled beer is gluten removed however as it is not tested and certified currently as such we can't sell it as gluten free.
