Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice brewery tour. We went to the Grainstore and we're met by a jovial host Chris. He took us around the brewery and conducted a really fun tour, definitely on par with Rorys tour that we attended previously. The only real difference is that we used...to be allowed to take a beer around whilst on the tour, but this has now stopped due to health and safety. One suggestion would be a complementary pint on arrival, providing you are there ahead of time. The other difference was that on the Gold package, we used to get a pint with the ploughman's same as the bronze package, which was another nice touch. But that aside the day was excellent and really made enjoyable by Chris and the team.More

Greeted with a smile upon arrival, and saw our reservation had been put on the table we requested (booking certainly advised on a weekend). Menus delivered and a drinks order was taken from the table and delivered promptly, just as asked. As it was a...Sunday, 3 of us wanted the Roast Pork, but there was a smaller selection on non-traditional meals to chose from too, so my husband ordered a Burger. After only a short wait, the food got delivered to the table, just as asked for (I requested the cauliflower to have no cheese on and 2 of us requested no red cabbage. Also hubby wanted the bacon well done on his bacon). Additional condiments were offered and another drinks order was taken. The lovely team of staff were by no means pushy, but were around if needed. Lovely atmosphere throughout as it’s a popular place to eat and drink. Great selection of locally sourced food and drink and with that, prices of some items will be higher than other places but I’m happy to support local people who obviously care about the offering they give. We’ll definitely be back!More

You can’t go wrong with the Grainstore for a pint in or out. Guinness is good and staff friendly. You can take your dog and the kids so really nothing to complain about at all!

We were staying in Oakham and decided to go to the Grainstore for dinner. We were expecting a good selection of beers and ciders and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had nachos and squid to start with and then my...husband went for the rack of ribs and I had the lamb shoulder both of which were great. Be careful as some of the portions are big! It is a very relaxed place to eat but the service was good.More

Sunday lunch at this super town centre pub/brewery was lovely. Despite our early arrival, the welcome was warm. Our pre-lunch drinks were served promptly and the brewery’s hand-pulled beer was superb. Lunch itself was fantastic. The roast pork was beautifully cooked, the crackling crisp. Vegetables...were perfect, especially the red cabbage and the epic cauliflower cheese. Table service was exemplary. We’ll be back to lunch at The Grainstore again.More
