Best place in town with a great range of cakes (especially the ginger cake) as well as good choice of hot and cold food. Top it all off with fantastic staff and reasonable prices. Forget the cafe chains, this is how a tea room should...be.More
Great friendly establishment. One gets greeted by the friendly staff. The food is wonderful. I had a Bucks Rarebit, it is Welsh Rarebit with an egg.
Popped in here on our first visit to Newport Pagnell and we were very impressed. All the staff are really friendly and we both had the best eggs Benedict in a long time. Annie really knows how to cook a poach egg. We also had...some lovely cake. The cafe was full of chatter between customers ( most of whom are regulars) and staff and we were made to feel welcome. Keep up the good work, we'll be back. (Lady with bright hair😀)More
We are so pleased you enjoyed your visit. We loved your hair, it was amazing, you looked amazing. We look forward to welcoming you again
Popped in on a very cold day. Had the homemade soup which was very tasty. Clean and comfortable with some easy chairs and a loo. Friendly helpful staff. Only one slight criticism, they don't have the prices on the menu nor a sign in the window...with prices. They are very reasonably priced compared to the other cafes in town and I'm sure they might pick up some more customers.More
Best tea room in Newport Pagnell, great food recommend the sausage bacon sandwich, cakes and the coffee.Very friendly staff, great for dogs.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. So glad you enjoyed your visit
Have tried to get in here on a number occasions when in Newport Pagnell but it has always been very busy so never managed it. Dropped in for breakfast when I expected it would be a bit quieter but despite the time of day, there...were still quite a few folks already there. Initial impression was that of being crowded - the large padded seating tending to fill up a lot of space but there was a couple of empty tables so we got one of these. Asking for a menu, it was provided right away (would have been nice to see some prices on it) and our order taken immediately. The waitress was on her own and with 5 tables being occupied and a takeaway service, she was amazingly effective. Tables cleared quickly, food served up with no delay, no hold ups at the till and sanitising tables - the lot. No sense of urgency, she just did it with the minimum of fuss and had conversations with customers - very impressed. We both had toast with sausage and tea. Food was very tasty and with a smashing cup of tea, an ideal start to the day and at under a tenner in total, great value for money.More
Thank you for your kind review, we are pleased you enjoyed your visit. Sorry you felt it was crowded, the Tearoom has been laid out to Health & Safety standards ( we do request customers do not move chairs to other tables because of limited...More
I took my aunt (with Alzheimer's) out for a little walk along the high street and decided to pop in for a coffee. I loved the eclectic mix of furniture and cups- made you feel very homely. The staff couldn't have been nicer and there...was a wonderful atmosphere of staff and customers all chatting together. Even dogs were welcome. I will definitely be coming back.More
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit. We do encourage everyone to chat, we want you to leave as friends 💜
I have been coming to this restaurant space for many years as it has changed ownership and it’s various owners have changed the name and what they do. So far the two most successful have been when they just aimed at being a tearoom. Now...as Annie’s Tea Room, where they make great light bites and sandwiches. Not to be left out are their wonderful cakes and sweet treats which are not to be forgotten. I normally pop in for a coffee and a treat which today was an Eggs Benedict which was very enjoyable. One thing I do like is they remember I like strong coffee. I probably also enjoy sitting and watching the world pass by.More
After a wet and cold parkrun in Bury Field nearby, there can’t be a better and warm place to go to but at Annie’s. Dogs are welcome at the cafe. The ladies are so welcoming and full of warmth and good cheer. We had some...coffee, hot chocolate and Paninis. All served very quick and always with a smile. Lovely vintage decor and have a look at the quirky artefacts on the window sill.More
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are always happy and grateful to see customers, old and new, and love when they linger a while. Hope to see you again soon
Popped in at lunchtime for a sandwich and coffee and cake today with a friend. Lovely friendly faces with the exception of the young waitress, who clearly didn't want to be there. Was more interested in eating her cake, drinking tea and on mobile phone....Plonked plates on our table, plonked cutlery on other peoples tables. Slapped serviettes in my hand when I had to ask for them. Very rude with attitude. Hopefully this can be rectified and not give the tea room a bad reputation.More

What a gem of a find. Very dog friendly! Would have no hesitation going back. Food is fresh and tasty. We will visit again soon. Thank you for making Ted feel at home.
Well. We visited Newport Pagnell today and decided to stop for a coffee and a slice of cake at Annies on the high street. Glad we did, great bunch of customers and the ladies serving the cake and making the coffee were absolutely brilliant. Now...I don't usually eat cake (I leave that to the missus) but the rhubarb and orange cake with some cream over it so good I ordered a whole one (for October) which will be shared amongst the family. If Carlsberg did cakes it would probably be rhubard and orange.More
Visited with my niece . We had panini, coffee and delicious homemade cake. Great find on Newport Pagnell high street . We will definitely going again and tell others to go . Lovely friendly staff .😊
Lovely service and a truly simple lay out, cups and pots in the cupbard, a cake tray. I only had a refresing pot of tea at an amazing price. However next time I will need to treat myself to a cake. Looking forward to coming...back here.More
