Had a lovely time at Pin Petch again. Food was full of flavour as always. One of the best authentic places around! And portion sizes are very filling, definitely great value for money. Went to Sunday Buffet . Prices have increased a lot , pint nearly £7 used to be £5 not so long ago . Price of Buffet is £23:99 ( cashew chicken , had 2 in , lots of uncooked cauliflower too ) . Food not...as good . Very disappointed our last 2 visits .More

We haven't been here for a few years but decided we wanted a change from a traditional roast dinner. We were not disappointed - the staff were really lovely and the food was great and just the right amount to send us on our way...dutifully full. We were so pleased to see that you order your Sunday (or Monday) buffet from the menu and it is cooked fresh to order (reduces food waste and it hasn't been sitting under lights) - we will be back!!More

I’m not usually one for writing reviews, however, I felt compelled to write this one! Tonight, I went to the Pin Petch for the first time since moving to Newport Pagnell. I must say it blew me away. Sunday was a day in which they...do the buffet menu and this allowed myself and my friend to try a lot of what they have to offer. Everything was hot, fresh and clearly made within the restaurant which made the experience even more authentic. The atmosphere was very relaxed and extremely welcoming. The ladies who were serving us couldn’t have been more attentive with nothing being too much trouble! I would highly recommend Pin Petch and I will definitely be returning as a regular customer going forwards! Jack.More

Had dinner at Pin Petch again and it was a flavor explosion! The curry was rich and aromatic with a nice cold glass of Singha and the service was top-notch. Will be back for more

We've used this restaurant for many years and have usually been satisfied with our visit. The restaurant now has new owners who have increased many of the prices to almost stratospheric levels. When we arrived there was nobody in the room to welcome us. After...a short wait a waiter appeared and asked where we would like to sit. This young guy was very pleasant throughout our time in the restaurant. The decor is very authentic but they don't wear the traditional Thai uniforms like they used to. I find this does detract from the experience and it did feel different when my wife and I were in another Thai restaurant in Milton Keynes, whose staff looked the part. The food was very excellent. The ribs are the best I've had anywhere, both in the UK and abroad. The sizzling duck was also good and was nice and crispy. Having said this, the food has always been good at Pin Petch. The reason we probably won't return is the new prices. The Jasmine rice with chicken and prawns used to cost £8.50 but is now £13.50. Other prices have increased including the alcohol - £5.30 for a very small bottle of Chang. I don't complain about the cost of eating out if it represents value and we all know that costs of running a restaurant have increased, but I do feel that, excuse the pun, the new owners have overcooked it.More

The food was so tasteful and enjoyable. Staff were very informative, service excellent. Would recommend to all, have sat in and eaten and also had takeaway, never been disappointed.

Having recently moved to MK, we had been looking forward to visiting the Pin Petch, given the reviews. All I can say it did not live up to its promise. The beef stir fry seemed to be mainly red & green bell peppers with a...hot sauce. Limited Thai flavours and ingredients. The soups we had for starters were not the best. Had much better both in UK and Thailand. All in all, mediocre, plus expensive.More

Beautiful location with such history of which the owners were more than happy to discuss upon asking. Food outstanding! Lovely atmosphere and really clean environment. All staff and as mentioned even the owners were so attentive to make sure you were catered for. Also, their...Pina Colada was lush! Absolutely recommend this restaurant 100%.More

The ambiance is superb in this historic building , the food was excellent, the service was prompt and friendly. The menu varied. Parking easy, its on the high street. Thoroughly recomend.
