I have been to the cafe here a few times now, both before and after social distance measures. The really great thing about having a tea break here is that it is perfectly possible to do this in a safe socially distanced way. The cafe has a delightful courtyard with tables under cover, whilst also being outside. It is sheltered, too. The crockery is attractive vintage, which is in keeping with the character of the place. Food is ok and thee cafe has done the half price eat in Covid offer. Vegan cakes and biscuits are scarce. Despite them claiming to have a vegan option, I have never encountered one. The only savoury option is a sausage sandwich - which is a poor offering. Come on Lytham Hall - get with the programme. Buy a Bosh book and make an effort! Value for money? It would be better if a pot of tea for two was slightly less than a pot of tea for one x 2. However, the new car parking costs pump up the overall spend at the Hall, so you might be better off at Costa down the road. Don't rely on Lytham Hall having free disabled spaces either, there is only room for 4 or so cars - and they are all filled now the carpark charges.

Been here a few times for lunch however the last couple of visits have been haven't been like normal. Long wait to get any sort of service last time and for some reason they weren't bringing the card machine outside so we're taking people's Bank cards off them to use contactless inside, not informed of this before ordering. My friend was charged twice and had to get in touch to get it refunded. This time the waitress was rather abrupt when a member of our party asked if they were allowed to smoke. Wrong drink was sent, the one ordered had apparently ran out so they sent a different kind without asking or telling us when they brought order. No glasses either for some reason we were given cardboard coffee cups to put our drinks into. Rather bizarre visit. Outdoor seating area is gorgeous and lovely in the sunshine, menu is quite small, good for coffee, cake, jacket potatoes and sandwiches. The food is quite basic, good for lunch if you're planning on a walk around the grounds or in the hall but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here just for lunch.

We visited with family and friends having enjoyed a walk around the grounds. We sat in the courtyard area and a friendly waiter soon took our order. There was a large pot of tea and a coffee, we all chose different cakes and we all declared them delicious. The chocolate fudge cake was lovely and gooey and light, the scone was light and tasty, the ginger roulade was lovely and the pumpkin cake was one we hadn't tried before, but delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. Loved the traditional china too, it was very much in keeping with the feel of the hall and we all enjoyed our visit. Prices very reasonable too. Be sure to only sit in the benches under the trees if you choose to eat outside, as we waited for a good few minutes on a wrought iron table to the side before realising we wouldn't be served other than on an approved table! Once we made it to the courtyard though we were served very speedily!😊

Hello, Thankyou for your review, and we're glad you enjoyed your time at Lytham Hall. And yes, you are correct - the wrought iron table in question was for sale with the Antiques shop!!

We arrived at 11.13 and was looking forward to a brunch. We sat by the fire and was waited. On immediately being brought a coffee while we looked at the menu. We made our choices and tried twice to attract the attention of the waitress. Unfortunately she was at the counter talking and then served 2 other customers who arrived at 11.20 and 11.25. After 20 minutes of being sat there and not being able to place our order for food we left very disappointed and went to get lunch somewhere else.

Lytham Hall is stunning and the grounds and gardens are well worth the £1 to park and explore. The cafe is in a pleasant spot within the courtyards at the back of the Hall, you can either sit inside, out in a walled quadrangle, or on picnic tables in the garden in the front. The food and cakes are well prepared. We had chocolate cake at our latest visit and the portions were good and tasty enough. Usual range of hot and cold drinks at typical prices for these sorts of places. The menu is more limited than it used to be before lock-down, when there used to be more daily specials available, but hopefully this is on a temporary limitation. Enjoyed our visit.

Attended the `Hall for a photo shoot, a party of 15 on a busy Sunday + antique fair. All booked afternoon teas for 1.30 p.m. in the Hall's Cafe and Courtyard. Even though it was a busy, sunny Sunday, we'd hardly sat down before the staff were on hand, taking orders for drinks. The cream teas had a selection of sandwiches, scones, fancies, salads and crisps. They were the freshest sandwiches and tastiest cakes I've tasted since my mother passed away. (MSRIP) In fact, my tongue thought my mouth had died and gone to heaven!

What a wonderful afternoon tea to celebrate a friends birthday last Sunday in the Georgian Hall. The mushroom & leek soup in a cup was delicious Lots of unusual offerings for afternoon tea & all served by a lovely lady called Liz Reddy (& some great photos taken by Julian.) Would highly recommend the experience & food.

Pleasant surroundings. Lovely looking cakes in the counter display. Unfortunately only the flapjacks are for the gluten free. Very very disappointing. When asked, the waitress says everything we have is on the menu. Very useful. Not. Plenty for vegans though. Perhaps I should become a vegan instead.

Waited for 15 minutes - 2 people clearing or serving food but 'someone else will take an order'. Asked both on separate occasions to send someone - several more minutes passed and no-one came. Gave up in the end.

Lovely walk round the grounds of Lytham Hall with the dog followed by breakfast . The cafe had a lovely atmosphere and was busy but with a nice vibe of people and well behaved dogs . My husband had kippers and I had poached eggs on toast .Both dishes were delicious and piping hot . Staff were very friendly and efficient .Reasonably priced for the quality of food . There is an option to eat outside as well when the weather heats up . After eating we had a look round the plants that are for sale just outside the cafe . All in all a very enjoyable morning and we will be back . 👍🏻

Don't believe the recent malicious reviews. We visit the Lytham Hall Café every day and can strongly recommend it. All the Staff are professional, courteous and very friendly. The food is great and good value. The Café itself is nicely decorated. A real bonus is that it is Dog Friendly and they even serve “Doggie Sausages”.

Just had an absolutely lovely afternoon tea at Lytham Hall. The parsnip and cauliflower soup was delicious and I’m not a fan of liquid food! A lovely selection of savoury items which I prefer but plenty to satisfy you if you have a sweet tooth. The staff, particularly Liz, were friendly and helpful. Plenty of top ups to satisfy the most severe caffeine addict. I fully intend to book again and have a tour of the hall at the same time next time. Excellent value for money and a real treat. I highly recommend you visit which, considering I don’t really like afternoon tea, is the highest accolade. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Whilst visiting Lytham we took a walk up to Lytham Hall and the Tearoom. There were four of us. We got a table which was good as there was a wedding going on at the Hall itself and after a while, they stopped serving food as they did their catering. Two people in our group ordered Jacket Potatoes, I had planned on ordering one and my wife something else when the guy talking our order explained about the specials that he had not yet had time to put on the blackboard - I was taken by the Lemon Pepper Chicken Wrap and my Wife the Chicken Baguette. My wrap was extremely tasty and full of flavor but, was very small which was a slight disappointment but luckily my Wife let me share hers. Which, also tasted lovely. I would still recommend this. It looked like a good menu and had plenty of options which I would have if and when I come again.

Absolutely had a fantastic day with my daughter. A lovely walk around the beautiful grounds chatted to the gardeners who were full of very good knowledge. Went for breakfast at the cafe, sat outside and waiting staff were all attentive, friendly and chatty. Estates office staff were also really friendly and we brought tickets to go round the hall. The Hall was wonderful and yet again very helpful and knowledgeable staff on each floor, available to answer any questions you might have. All in all a wonderful place to visit, warm friendly people and beautiful surroundings.

Wow!! So much to say....you simply have to visit. This is an amazing Georgian building. There is a cafe on site which is very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and decorated in favour of the building. There is a library area where you can purchase books with 'an honesty box' system, an antiques centre, a little shop in the wine cellar, a very quaint courtyard, an animal area with pigs and goats and a lovely shop selling honey, biscuits, chutneys, jams and sauces all made local from or around Lytham Hall at very good prices. In the summer when events are on there is a land train. Be warned...if you have mobility issues and don't drive, get a taxi (Whiteside Taxis) from Lytham town centre to the Hall because it is an extremely long walk. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. There is a seperate part of the hall that does Georgian afternoon teas and you can also purchase plants ect
