Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We parked up on the prom near the pier and were in need of refreshments after a long drive and before our hotel check in. So glad we found this fantastic little cafe close by. Really appreciated the friendly welcome and excellent service which was a great start to our visit. Our toddler was made so welcome. We enjoyed delicious freshly cooked breakfasts and toasted sandwiches and couldn’t resist the cakes and ice cream. Our hosts gave us helpful information and directions for our trip. Thank you!

We were just having a Tier 3 walk down Lytham high Street and the front looking for something to eat.
The Clock House looked OK but nothing special at first, although the location just across from the front was nice.
But as soon as we arrived the welcome was really friendly and genuine. We ordered a couple of toasties and had a seat in the outdoor area that's nicely secluded by some trees and plants.
The breakfasts looked amazing, another couple ordered those. When our toasties arrived (tuna melts) they were perfect, packed full of tuna and flavour.
This is a great spot and despite initially being unsure we are so glad we chose to go there. Will be going back today for a breakfast hopefully!
Absolutely 5 stars

I went to Lytham at the weekend and visited the Clock House. The owner was very enthusiastic about the cheese cakes which is always a good sign. I tried the toffee cheese cake first. It was to die for I was in cheese cake heaven. We went back in the afternoon and had a hot chicken and stuffing sandwich. again I couldn't fault it.
We went back with the family on the Sunday and I had the lemon cheese cake with lemon meringue ice cream what can I say but magnificent. I wanted to give the clock house 10 stars. All I can say to staff is very well done A brilliant place to eat and have a lovely coffee. from Steve and Mandy

We stumbled across this little gem when looking for somewhere for breakfast. It looked lovely and we were not disappointed. The gentleman who was front of house was very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was outstanding and the only downside was that it was so large we couldn’t squeeze in any of the amazing looking homemade cheesecakes which were on display. Will definitely be back to sample one next time we are in the area 👍🏻 I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent value, using the best produce... Either full English or simple Bacon or Sausage Barm. Ice cream to die for. Wallings or whippy ice cream as well as knickerbocker glories... And on top of this it's dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Chips are the staple diet in Blackpool so this place makes a refreshing change. We all had a barm breakfast which was delicious. The scones were smothered in clotted cream, milkshakes were great. This is a converted old stone building with outdoor seating and fresh flowers on all the tables right near the beach. Our whole family can highly recommend this lovely little cafe.

Came across the Clock House by accident yesterday. It's in a good location, just set back from the seafront. The outside seating in the sunshine looked very inviting. We
felt very happy with all the Vivid measures in place. We chose sausage sandwiches from the outdoor menu, which were delicious. The tea was presented in nice tall cups, so no need for fiddly teapots. The individual lemon cheesecake with lemon meringue ice cream was to die for. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

We found this lovely little gem by accident and how grateful we were. We were considering the takeaway menu as we had two westie dogs with us but they invited us to eat in. We were so glad we did. Two English breakfasts and a sausage barm - all delicious, freshly cooked and served by a lovely friendly young man with excellent customer skills.. Everyone was so friendly including the two owners who clearly lead their team by example. Everything was lovely and clean and was a wonderful start to our Sunday .

Called in by chance as it had started to rain and received the warmest welcomes. A very cosy atmosphere and the owners and staff took time to make conversation and our dog Olly even meet Charlie the owners new addition to the family.
Our Olly was spoilt to… a bowl of water and even able to order a sausage for his lunch.
Our food came quick and wax thoroughly enjoyed along with a hot drink
Thanks again, we’ll be back

We have just enjoyed a brilliant full English breakfast at the Clock House. It was our first visit here but would definitely come back. The food was cooked fresh and the bacon, sausage and black pudding were top quality. My daughter had eggs benedict which was new to the menu but was very good. Service was friendly and welcoming. Good value for money .

Called with five friends who fancied some tea and cake. The smell of the bacon soon changed our mines a little where we had bacon baps and some had cakes.
With the lovely sunshine we were quite at home there.
Service very good and friendly.
So why isnt it 5 stars...
Perhaps it will be on our next visit :) ...
Well worth calling in ...

We popped in for a late lunch and we were bowled over with the quality of the food. We both tried the burgers which were delicious, high quality and cooked to perfection. We also sampled the luxury milkshakes which were a real treat. Best of all was the incredible cheesecake, possibly the best we’ve ever tasted. Fantastic service and clearly passionate staff, who are really deserving of custom. Well worth a visit.
