Starters- hummus served with warmed pitta bread, feta and spinach parcels to share, they were fab and very filling and tasted amazing.
Mains- chicken souvalaki, served with rice, salad with the most amazing tzatziki.
Beef sifado, with mashed potates and veg.
All the food was washed down with a bottle of house red.
Not the cheapest meal for 2 people but food exceeded our expectation and was well worth it.
Great service.

Always a 5* experience! We came here for our Valentine’s meal (we also came on Valentine’s Day last year too!)- this was our third visit and it wasn’t a disappointment. It was exceptionally busy and we did wait a while for our starters but the lovely staff couldn’t apologise enough and to be honest, we don’t like to be rushed so this wasn’t a problem for us. Always great, friendly service and the food is just second to none! Home cooked, traditional Greek food and obviously HUGE portion sizes - you won’t be leaving hungry that’s for sure.

We were looking for something other than Fish and Chips, and found the Greek Flame. Since we were closeby, we booked in person rather than by phone.
The food was incredible, almost too much, the helpings are generous. For the two of us, Mezze dips w/- Pita, 2 starters, 2 mains, & a bottle of House wine, came to less than £75.00. Delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat there.

Visited here for evening dinner. The dining space is distinctly underwhelming, bordering on a bit grotty. No ambience, warmth or atmosphere. Limited menu and dishes served were nothing like authentic Greek food. For me, it had no redeeming features. Toilet facilities were filthy according to my dining partner. Very disappointed, especially as it’s not cheap dining, I expected quality but it was lacking in all areas.

I came to the Greek Flame Taverna restaurant a couple of weeks ago with my family for the very first time & I was very impressed with how the tables were set out, hand sanitizer was available & staff were following all the COVID guidlines.
The food was absolute heaven, the nicest Greek food we have ever tasted & we will definitely be coming back again.
The Greek decor was absolutely stunning & whilst dining there we felt like we were abroad with such a fantastic ambiance!
Exceptionally clean & first class service!!
Thank you so much to all the staff for such a wonderful evening & we will see you again very soon!!

My companion and I ate here for the first time on an early Thursday evening in September. The restaurant was reasonably busy at this time and we had not booked in advance, but were welcomed and seated promptly. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated in light colours, with some nice Greek art on the walls. I enquired about Gluten-Free Options and was immediately offered a special menu, which was impressive in a small establishment. Drinks were ordered and arrived promptly. My companion chose a Greek Salad as a starter, followed by Moussaka. I chose Dolmades, followed by Kleftiko. All of our dishes were beautifully presented, colourful and very tasty, with generous portions, and were a happy reminder of many Greek holidays. We were so full that neither of us could manage dessert, but observed others eating what looked like very tempting desserts, including a Chocolate Orange cake. We did however enjoy some fine Aribica coffee to finish a wonderful meal. The service throughout was courteous and attentive, but unobtrusive. It was clear that many of our fellow diners were regulars. Recommended.

A warm welcome and friendly service throughout from the two men front of house.
Lovely traditional Greek themed decor in the restaurant although the toilets weren’t that pleasant and could do with modernising.
Whilst still perfectly edible, several of the dishes ordered were too oily for our liking which resulted in leftovers on most plates.

I’ve been here twice and can’t wait for my next visit. Both times i have booked a table of 6 and all meals plentiful & perfect. Friends on each occasion requested different accompaniment to that what was on the menu and it was done with no fuss. The staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble

Four of us went for a meal last night.
Three of us ordered the calamari to start. They came covered in a crusted batter which was way over spiced, more like a peppery kfc. As a result the nasty batter totally overpowered the taste of the calamari. Not nice. Suspect they may be out of a packet.
One of us ordered the burger, which was burnt to a crisp. And the kleftiko was not a traditional kleftiko. It should have been cooked slowly in a crockpot and encased with paper, so that when the paper was opened all of the steam and juices from cooking should be released. What came was a piece of pre-cooked lamb on the bone, which was dumped on the top of some vegetables and reheated. The potatoes should have been cooked with the lamb sitting on top of them inside the crockpot Not good enough when you are paying £20 for a main course of kleftiko.
Unfortunately we will not be returning.

We went here with some trepidation as my wife is Greek and if this wasn't right she would know. The restaurant is well laid out with a really nice veranda area, which reminded us of many a taverna in Cyprus. They also have a wine list which includes Greek village wine which you won't see on many menu's. We tried the Swordfish and Stifado and both were cooked and presented exactly right, and the wife was well impressed. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here for first time, looking forward to some traditional greek food.
Ordered Moussaka and Chicken Souvlaki.
The moussaka was not pleasant, too much cumin, and the aubergine seemed undercooked.
The souvlaki was over cooked and dry.
In both cases they came with salad but not sure what dressing was on it , tasted like salad cream.
would not go back
I left over half of the moussaka, and the server/manager didnt ask why just accepted that I did'nt eat all and presented the bill, made no enquiry whether there was a problem.
Seemed normal!

We visited Flame Greek restaurant on a wild and windy Lytham evening. Delicious Greek Food with peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We got a very warm welcome and the food was absolutely delicious. On previous visits to Lytham we have eaten At Weatherspoons but Flame Greek Restaurant was unbeatable! Much nicer than Weatherspoons! We shall return! Eun &Les from Euxton Nr Chorley xx
