Had a snack at lunchtime & popped in one evening just for a drink & relax. Lovely location, right by the water, beautifully decorated. The walk down from the town is lovely, little cobbled street, lit up at night by fairy lights at night

We were visiting Lymington and decided to try a meal at The Ship. We were not disappointed - the food was good, the surroundings comfortable and pleasant and the service was very good (thank you Charlotte).

we visited the ship again yesterday with 3 dogs, a baby and a child. Food was excellent as usual. We asked for hot water to warm the baby's bottle. This was provided without fuss. At no stage did we fell not welcome. It is such a lovely clean pub and it is lovely to be able to eat without leaving... More

I have dined here regularly over the years. On Saturday I dined with four friends and we waited a long time for our order to be taken. We shared a Fisherman's Platter which was nice and Artisan Breads, which weren't very artisan. I chose Prawn, Crab and Chorizo Linguine, which was lovely, and others had Chicken and Ham Pie, Rabbit... More

Thank you for your feedback, as noted by the server we are changing our wine list this week and as such have had a limited wine list for the last week. For this you have our apologies. Hopefully you will return when our new wine menu is in place to try some of our great new wines. Many thanks The... More

With its top location it can't help but be busy, so go early if you want a seat! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good wholesome and reasonably priced, not excellent but good. Having said that I've only had bar snacks in the bar and never eaten in the restaurant area so can't comment on that... More

Visited twice whilst in Lymington for two days. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon drink on the deck bathed in glorious sunshine whilst enjoying the harbour veiw. Returned the next day for supper to over-hear complaints on double fried chips, so we had french fries with our fish, which was very good indeed. Extremely pleasant staff who could not have been more... More

This pub ticks all the boxes - a must try venue. The view of the harbour is idyllic. Outside seating area and good beer choice.

Busy pub as it has a prime position on the quay but although on the surface it looks attractive it is quite bland. There isn't much atmosphere even though the staff are friendly enough. However the big let down is the toilets which are shabby and in need of decorating and hadn't been attended when I was there as there... More

Lovely location and an exciting menu. Very accommodating staff especially Richard. Good deal on the fixed menu although we didn't have it. If you have the sticky chicken watch out for the chillies, delicious though.
