Stayed a night in Lymington and looking for somewhere to eat outside of town but within walking distance and we chose well. The food was top end gastro type food, good portions and reasonable value. Would happily return.

Nicely decorated interior, a little brisk greeting on arrival… Have you booked when it was almost empty! Food was mixed, the foie gras starter with pigeon wasn’t pleasant and bore no resemblance to similar ones we’ve had before but the lamb for main was cooked...More

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food was amazing, it was delicious with a twist be it the beer batter on the fish being really light or the cauliflower cheese encased in a parmesan cheese lattice. The chef has done a great job in...More

We were staying at the posh hotel just up the road, The Ferryman beat MacDonald’s hands down, second to none staff, who went the extra mile and excellent food. We stopped here for lunch and decided to book a table for dinner. The staff organised...More
