A really good tasty pizza and the thin base Roman type which I much prefer. Great value with the pizza and and a pint offer, I had one of the lovely local beers from Flack Manor, having had an equally enjoyable one from the Lymington based Vibrant Forest Brewery the evening before. The whole menu was imaginative with something to... More

Only visiting Lymington for the night, we wanted a high quality, hearty meal for the whole family. We were not disappointed! The staff here are absolutely first class and the food/atmosphere is fantastic. Our two boys (10 & 5) loved their pizzas and my wife announced her burger as the best she's ever had in the UK! I had a... More

This is the first time we have sat down to eat here having always had a couple of snacks at the bar with a few pints on previous visits. The Pizza and Flat Breads were very tasty and I would certainly return to taste the other delights on the menu and specials board.

We phoned up an hour earlier to book in for food on a Sunday evening for myself, wife and toddler. Staff were great and from moment we got there nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious, and the beer was top notch. Definitely one to head back to when next in Lymington.

We regularly go to the Tripp for dinner. I would say it is probably the best pub food in Lymington. A lot of people are surprised by this! From pizza to ribeye steak to king prawn skewers and very interesting specials, the menu caters for everyone and is very good value. Ribeye steak, home cooked chips and salad will cost... More

If you love pizza try the Thomas Tripp. The early evening deal is fantastic can't go wrong with a pizza and pint for £8.50. The garden is lovely on a warm evening. Other food looks delicious and friendly bar staff make this pub a good place to visit whilst in Lymington. My husband and I use this pub regularly and... More

Went with wife and 3 kids (1/2/4 years old). Booked a table a couple of hours in advance. Arrived and 2 high chairs as requested all ready and pristine clean. Food and service was brilliant - wife is vegetarian and she was really impressed - I had prawns followed by steak. We live in London so good quality, non pretentious,... More

Met friends for an evening drink, service slow at the bar ,three rounds of a white wine and a pint,,three different prices, and it may be a picky thing but I think that I should not be addressed as "Mate " by someone who I have never met.garden furniture falling to pieces.Average review given because we did not eat there and cuisine... Thomas Tripp Special Board Tuna: Seriously fantastic. The Thomas Tripp always delivers great atmosphere with super friendly service. The tuna was served 'medium rare' with perfectly cooked green beans/asparagus, new potatoes and local beer. Delicious contrast between seared marinated exterior and juicy fresh interior. I said to someone at the bar afterwards that it was by far the best food... More

Excellent food and brilliant attention of the guys, dish of the day of Tuna was outstanding as were the ribs, taster offered when asked about a beer we did not know and recommendations of alternatives. the walled garden is comfortable and well laid out, the challenge is finding the town car park a 100metres away!
