We called in at lunchtime on a cold, crisp November day and were greeted with courtesy and led to a nice table - but were the only diners until much later on. The menu is expensive, my husband had the sea bream at £24 and...More

Delicious food , the souffle being exceptional. Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting, everything of a very high standard, the only negative being the white gloves on the waiter, which we felt somewhat over the top.

Visited with friends, having been several times before, with high expectations. The menu sounded very interesting and certainly looked beautiful but this time we felt that it was style over substance. The portions are ridiculously small, so unless you go for the 7 course option, you...More

I cannot describe how I feel about this restaurant. It is totally amazing. The best food I have ever tasted. The service is second to none and a great atmosphere. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Me and my friend booked the table on my birthday night and wanted to try something different, apart from the cosy atmosphere the restaurant has, the food was just average and over priced, we were only impressed by the final dessert from the tasting menu...More

This was my first visit to The Elderflower and loved the walk down cobbled street to find restaurant near rivers edge. It was not the best experience as the restaurant was empty when we arrived and thought that the service would have been better. Although...More

Quintessentially British, with a sprinkling of French. The Elderflower is the new restaurant for food lovers on a cobbled Quay Street in the heart of Lymington, the beautiful Georgian town sited between the New Forest district of Hampshire and the West Solent. Head Chef Patron Andrew Du Bourg (formerly Head Chef at 5* Chewton Glen hotel and Michelin starred Club Gascon, London) will prepare modern British food with a sprinkling of French using locally sourced produce from land and sea.
