Great staff, great drinks and live music. What more can you ask for. One of the last real pubs in the area. The landlord spends the time with the staff to give it that extra little touch.

Went in here to watch a football match on a Sunday afternoon as it is the only place in Oulton Broad that screens live Sky football. It was very busy but perfectly ok however we didn't fancy going back on an evening

this is your basic local pub, serving basic pub grub. nothing special, but decent beer, clean glasses and good service. live music, quiz nights, sports, special events - its a proper local pub! I knew this pub many years ago when it was very different... it's not in the centre of Oulton Broad, so doesn't get as much of the... More

Went here for Halloween and the pub was fantastically decorated, this is a traditional pub and Andy the current landlord has spent a lot of money in decorating the place trying to build the place up. If you want a plastic gastro bar, then this is not for you, but if you want a good old fashioned pub with a... More

Seems like some pubs have a take it or leave it attitude to real ale. This pub is the local example. if you think you'll survive selling Carling and John Smiths the carry on . We've all left you behind.

Thank you for responding about the pub. We would very much like to increase our ale sales but have fallen recently we only stock one. So when it is gone, its gone. If there was a problem with the ale at the time we would recommend you bring it up with the bar tender so that we can rectify this... More

If you want a restaurant, you're in the wrong place, if you want a good selection of drinks, some average simple pub grub, live band on a Saturday night, you've nailed it. Oulton Broad has a selection of bars, but this is a bit of an oasis as a traditional pub, it's a large pub and gets a good crowd... More

The place could do with a good clean, especially around the bar area. The floor is full of rubbish and needs a good sweep. Theres a strange smell too, which i suspect is an air freshener. Theres beer mats in most places, but not on the tables!
