Stopped in Lockerbie as a lunch stop, we had intended to go to Townhead Hotel, but they were catering for a funeral, they pointed in direction of the Kings Arms. On arrival, could tell the decor etc was very dated, old fashioned. Could not see anyone to seat us, made way to reception, then server appeared, able to pick a... More

Four of us plus one dog called in at random for dinner and were made welcome. The food was plentiful, of good quality and good value. We will call in again.

This is the second time we have visited the King's Arms Hotel in the last month and both visits were good. The first time I got the chicken stuffed with haggis and it was AMAZING... Top class. Spent a couple of nights here on work, the staff were good, especially one lady called Linda. Its an old hotel with lots of character, but not as polished as modern hotel chains.

Nice and clean hotel, staff smartly dressed and helpful. Food was nothing special but good size portions. Prices tad expensive possibly reason for so few covers. Comment would be if all menue was £1 cheaper this would be a good value establishment. Nothing bad but not startling give it a try and then decide.

Excellent food and service in a tragic little hamlet. Mixed grill is enough for four but a hearty appetite polished it off. Three course Sunday meal is a steal.
