Visited for my fiancees birthday and must say the food and service were fantasic. Service - The lady that greeted us at the front of house was extremely pleasent and could not do enough. Food - I ordered the duck which was full of flavour and very well presented, my partner had the Thai green curry and was definitely the... More

Met some friends here from Cannock as it's about half way from where I live in Hebden Bridge. What a great place. The approach by cobbled lane is really quaint. I'll certainly return here in summer time to make use of the garden areas. All three of us had the roast beef Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect... More

I had been wanting to go here for ages. As it gets booked up quick I managed to book ahead. After reading all the reviews and being a real foody I couldn't wait. Me and my fiancée are both vegetarian and all I can think is like a lot of places they just don't put the same effort in. I... More

The fillet steak at the Bells never disappoints. Cooked exactly to order, accompanied by gorgeous triple cooked chips, rich pepper sauce and amazing onion rings. Service and atmosphere superb, very reasonable prices and a beautiful location. Looking forward to returning for our steak anniversary next year !

We ate her to celebrate a relatives birthday and the food was lovely. The service was good with one exception - we were hurried at the end due to the table being required for another party. Surely we could have been served our coffee and tea elsewhere then I wouldn't have need to drink it so fast or been informed... More

My husband and I were treated to a meal here with our daughter, son in law and two children aged 12 and 9 years as a celebration of our anniversary. What a lovely looking place this is - beautifully lit with the tiny white lights sparkling and welcoming us. We had the big table overlooking the sparkly hedge which looked... More

It's a while since I've been to the Bells but I'm glad I've reacquainted myself with the place. A small group of us went for midweek dinner and the food (and wine) were all first rate. Service was very attentive without being overbearing and we had a nice comfy little corner to enjoy conversation and laughs. What may be less... More
