Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good food but tad expensive than it used to be? Lots of lovely gifts to choose from too. Staff were very helpful. Clean toilets.

Hideously expensive. I will NEVER return. The place itself is amazing, food court a treasure trove. Ditto gifts. That's the positives out of the way. Be prepared to spend a LOT if you're anything more than singular. I purchased an item and was flabbergasted when...the card reader asked for what it asked for. I was too embarrassed to ask for said item to be cancelled and reluctantly paid. However, at the earliest opportunity I will have to drive ALL the way back and return. Unused and with the required POP. Honestly. I was SO disappointed and shocked at prices. Maybe others might not turn a hair. I am a pensioner on a very limited income and this place confounds my purse. And offends my sense of value. Enjoy if you go. Just be prepared...More

Me and my partner along with our two pups waited at the canopy for 15 minutes without being acknowledged, should have used this as an omen as to what was to come… The food was horrific. The soup was watery and lacked any flavours of...its name sake broccoli. The beef brisket sandwich was equally as bad, no seasoning no flavour. £32 down the drain, we will not be coming back and we do not recommend this place at all. The toilets were clean and the view was nice, that’s about it.More

Possibly THE worst panini I have had. Below par dry bread , 2 slices of chicken breast, smear of pesto and a few rocket leaves...£8.50 Will definitely not be back. Robbery!

The menu was limited but we enjoyed what we had. However the attitude of some members of staff left much to be desired. Stuart in the cafe could do with a spell at charm school. We decided to skip desert & coffee and spend our...money somewhere more welcoming.More

I had just finished a walk round Loch Leven with my dog. I had previously seen the notice at front of house saying to order at the take-away window, so as it was a nice day, I stood at the take-away window, pressed the buzzer...and waited. And waited some more. I was studiously ignored by the 3 people working behind the counter, only 6 inches on the other side of the take-away window. I waited approximately 5 minutes, without anyone acknowledging that I was there so then I decided that they didn’t want my business. As a solo traveller with muddy dog, there was no way I could go inside to order. The only reason I’ve given 2 stars is the free parking and toilet.More

Visited with friends for brunch. Completely forgot it was Mother’s Day and despite it being super busy, the very friendly manager managed to accommodate us. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the French toast! Coffee was also delicious, super smooth! Although we didn’t have a sweet...treat, the selection was great! Gift shop was fantastic and really enjoyed having a look around. Overall, highly recommend!More

Lovely farm shop and gift shop - visited a number of times. It is pricey but everything is of good quality. Haven’t eaten in the restaurant so unable to comment on that. Plenty of parking available and walks nearby. Lots of nice specialist food and...drink to purchase.More

Lovely food in the restaurant and great shop. Cafe is a little overpriced as are some of their products (some are at least 3 times more expensive than in other shops). I have been a few times and I have always found the staff to...be friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.More

Just paid £4.65 for an oat milk flat white that tasted burnt and fishy. Just back from London and didn't pay anything like that down there. High price and low quality...not good!

The "Something Different" stovies lived up to their billing on the Menu. A bowl of just cooked, boiled potato, carrot, turnip and celery. At the bottom I found the one peice of meat. The gravy was subtle, I am not sure if I found it....Plenty of pea shoots on the garnish to make up for the meat. The Chowder was equally heavy on veg and light on fish. Lovely situation and shop and very busy but not value for money.More

Wonderful location! Food not up to standard! Venison stovies were a huge disappointment - there was no venison to be seen! Had to use the black pudding and bacon from other half’s buttie to add any kind of flavour. Never one to complain but on...this occasion was glad it was brought to management attention as the cost was removed from the bill. Management need to read, reflect and act on feedback given as this isn’t the first review to highlight this! There are so many wonderful places in the Kingdom to eat - it will be a very long time before we would return.More

Hi Tillytoot, the large pod seats 8 adults comfortably, so for the 5 adults and 2 of the children it would be fine. There is no way that a wheelchair could go inside the pods though I'm afraid, anyone with disability would... More
