The Court House Coffee Bar & Restaurant was opened in spring 2015, bringing one of the most historic buildings in Kinross back to life. The old prison yard is now our garden & patio and is a sunny and peaceful spot, protected by the original sandstone wall which once kept the resident scoundrels contained. Now we prefer to use it for al fresco dining. We strive to create a pleasurable dining experience for all our customers, in relaxed and contemporary surroundings. Our chef and his team use a combination of modern and classic techniques, and we always try and present our delicious seasonal menus with flair and an emphasis on local, Scottish produce. Inside, the pizza oven is fired up daily

It was about 5pm on Valentine’s Day? We were in luck, restaurant was very quiet as staff prepared for evening ahead.
We booked for a family birthday celebration. The atmosphere was welcoming, the menu was varied and the food excellent . We enjoyed friendly, efficient service (thank you Verity). The Courthouse never disappoints.
Went for brunch on a quiet Sunday. Drinks arrived reasonably quickly but had to wait 45 minutes for an egg roll and some pancakes. When I asked the manageress how long the food would be as we had finished our coffees, she just shrugged and...More
