I had a Sunday dinner and i had beef and gammon with it they were both superb and enjoyed every bite! For dessert i had Eton mess and lived up to its name. My friends and I had an amazing meal and would absolutely recommend/come here again! The staff where polite and welcoming and i got lovely service!

It was reasonably priced, but as it was not enjoyed all round, and we were not once asked if our meals were ok, I'm... More

Had to write this review to acknowledge this gem of an establishment, it's staff, atmosphere and great food. We made our reservation very last minute after our original plans changed and we were not disappointed! Seven of us we're seated in the lovely snug opposite the bar, which was a really festive setting. Menu choice was extensive and everyone had... More

Superb lunch - Ros had a perfectly cooked steak and I had the steak and ale pie, which was amazing and the brownies are to die for. Will definitely be back for more - and the bill was brilliant, too :)

The food served is of excellent quality, beautifully presented and competitively priced. We have visited on different days of the week and have always been warmly welcomed no matter what time of day.... More

In an area that has seen numerous pubs blossom and fade here is a place that feels so warm and homely. Smiling faces greet you in and welcome you and then you sit down to fantastic homemade food. A 3 course meal included a fabulous black pudding fritter with salad, a rich and fulfilling steak and ale pie and then... More

We haven't been to this local for years, however on recommendation from our friends we went last week for an evening meal. The atmosphere was lovely and our 9 year old daughter was also made to feel very welcome (not always the case in a pub on a Friday evening!), decor beautiful and the staff very friendly. Food was to... More
