I am a regular in this place when I am home from the Far East. Always pleasant and helpful staff on hand to advise customers on the vast range of real ales available at festival times and a huge variety of food that is both...More

Visited here several times over our 2 week stay in Halifax. Great breakfasts, fab burgers and nice atmosphere for a pint or 3 at night. Staff all seemed to enjoy their work and were all friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Its a Wetherspoons, the food was good as usual, the beer was well kept and cheap, shame the seating was very tatty. You know what you are getting and if you accept the limitations, Wetherspoons are fine.

The young girl behind the bar with the swallow tattoo is only interested in serving young men. Totally ignorant and rude.

Great staff . Great menu. Extensive drinks choice. Amazingly cheap for both food and drink. A great city centre venue.

This is a spacious pub in an old building. The staff were friendly and efficient. Food arrived very quickly and was well presented and tasty. The beer, oh my goodness, was excellent. Eland Porter is a great real ale. Level access from the street.

There is a public car park directly across the road and another one slightly further away. There isn't one at the Barum Top itself.
