We decided to pop in after a long day at the Pleasure Beach, with a by now very tired 4 year old. The restaurant wasn't too busy so we were seated straight away. The fish was well cooked, chips good and the kid's meal was generous. The restaurant was comfy and service quick and friendly.

Came to Harry Ramsdens as we were having a family day out in Great Yarmouth and as we had a good experience last time thought we would come back. We were seated straight away in a seat we chose and moved the furniture ourselves to fit the whole family round. We were not given menus so I got up and... More

Staying in Yarmouth for a few days and trying to find an inexpensive meal was hopeless everywhere was awful, so decided to try the well known Harry Ramsden thinking this must be good. It wasn't food was freezing chips and mushy peas looked like they had been cooked days ago, the soup and crusty bread option my wife chose consisted... More

What can say The food is really very good and very well presented. The shop could be a little larger to be able to accommodate the sheer volume of people who wish to eat here and the staff could at least have a smile on their faces.

If I had one word to describe HR fish and chips it would be 'Delicious' No need to order large because the standard is big enough. Waited 10mins for our food to arrive, but was worth it because you know it's been cooked from fresh. Plenty of choice on the menu and worth paying that little bit extra at a... More

Visit here on a regular basis. Good standard of decor. The food is tasty and of good portions. Staff are very efficient. One bonus is that due to having a forces discount card as we got 30% off the final bill result 🤗🤗🤗😜😜😜😜

Description
Harry Ramsden's serve the same great quality fish and chips today that they have been since 1928. The brand was established 80 years ago, when Harry Ramsden opened his first takeaway store in a hut in Guiseley. His top-quality fish and chips brought people from near and far and it wasn't long before Harry's became the most famous fish and chip shop brand in the world. The fish is freshly prepared in Harry's kitchens daily and has that distinctive flavour revered the world over. The menu includes the world-famous battered fish with its closely guarded secret recipe, as well as an extensive choice of mouth-watering options and a fantastic children's menu, to satisfy all the family. There are 13 Harry's restaurants across the United Kingdom, from seaside locations such as Blackpool and Bournemouth to high street restaurants and Southampton city centres, so you're never far from a Harry's.
