So myself and my husband have come down to Yarmouth for the night and we was reccomend by the lady who owns the B&B where we are staying to eat here.So I called up on the off chance to book a table lucky enough we was able to get in at 6pm so long as we were able to finish by 8pm. On our arrival we were greeted by I can only assume was the owner of the restaurant who was friendly and welcoming indeed and told us where we needed to go to be shown our table. The restaurant is small but not cramp had a lovely atmosphere and the staff are absolutely amazing to say the least. The menu is full of wonderful dishes and prices vary depending on what your after. My husband had mussels to start with and I had humous with bread. When his arrived to say I was a tad jealous was a understatement however mine was incredible to. For mains I had chicken stroganoff my husband chose chicken princess ,both tasted lush and came out looking 5 star food. I was hoping to try out their puddings how wrong was I as hahaha myself and my husband were so full from our starter and main that we had no room for pudding. We both had drinks to and the meal only came to £61.00 which to us coming from Essex is really good value for money indeed. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again for sure. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff and chefs for making our evening special❤ Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating indeed

The staff have taken on board all the precautions to make a night out as safe as possible. The owners have really thought out the layout to accommodate screens between the tables and have not tried to squeeze in the maximum seats into the available space so forget turning up without booking in advance. This keeps the atmosphere we enjoyed pre Covid. All the staff hidden behind masks and visors took a bit of getting used to though. The meals are top notch and I am amazed that Chico has managed to source all the fresh produce that makes the restaurant stand out from the rest. After lockdown I went over the top and ordered Chico's Seafood platter (for two to share - heard that before) well I have to say that it was a good job we had spare people with us as the two of us could not have eaten all of it on our own. Lovely night out and superb service by the staff. A must visit if you want quality service and quality seafood.

Felt really safe there with all the hand wash and screens up etc. Staff were all wearing visors which made me feel at ease. Had crab claws for starters which were so good a few more would of been nice but for £8 can't complain really. Mains the lamp kleftiko (think that's how you spell it) was decent size, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Service was good but the older English lady was a little abrupt I would definitely recommend this place you may pay a little more than the average restaurant in town but if you want quality food you do pay more. Well worth a visit

Visited with my wife. I had the cheese burger - patty cooked to perfection. Bun was soft and cheese was nice and gooey. One of the best burgers ive had. My wife had the spicy grilled chicken burger- chicken was moist, bun soft and sauce complemented the burger very well. The burgers come with a portion of fries. We upgraded one of the fries to halloumi fries for an extra £3.50. The hallouni fried were good but I personally dont think it was good value to upgrade the fries. Definitely recommend.

Celebrating a birthday, we were looking for a good quality Greek restaurant in Great Yarmouth or the surrounding area. Trip Advisor ratings were mostly good and so I phoned to reserve a table. I left 2 messages on consecutive days, provided my name and contact details and requested a call back to confirm availability. Several days later I phoned back as they had not bothered to call me and was dealt with by a rude and abrupt member of staff but I did manage to book a table for my required date and time. When we arrived I was shocked to find the ‘kitchen area’ in the entrance. It looked like a chip shop/greasy spoon with an eating area to the back. The ‘dining area’ was dark and shabby. Not to be perturbed, we ordered starters and mains. The starters took 45 minutes to arrive and were awful. Especially the garlic mushrooms with a thick sauce which resembled cold congealed soup. Whilst we waited for the mains to arrive we heard others complaining about the quality of the food, only to be met with an abrupt retort of ‘that’s how it comes out of the can’. Having witnessed firsthand this lack of customer service I did not bother to raise any issues we had with our starters, and so to the main courses… Why was I not surprised to receive chops which were not cooked as I requested, despite being asked how I would like them cooking. Others in my party received steaks which were both fatty and incorrectly cooked. Worst of all was a dish which was initially presented as lasagne, then changed mid-sentence to moussaka. It actually resembled a bowl of leftovers, a tasteless mush of cheese, meat, a nondescript white sauce. We could not face another minute in the heat and grease filled atmosphere so we paid and left without having a dessert. The meal was priced like a quality bistro but the reality was I would not have fed it the dog. Definitely one to avoid.

We visited as a family of four and felt welcome from the minute we stepped through the door, the front of house ensured all those that entered sanitised their hands which was great to see. The waitressing staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble the food was outstanding. It’s best to book in advance if you want to visit as they often have a sign outside advising that they are fully booked.

Visited here In July & there was 14 of us including 6 children. The booking was managed promptly & efficiently initially via Facebook and although getting use to adhering to new s/d measures herself, the lady I dealt with over the phone, & on our visit, was a credit to the place. She was straight up with the dos & don’ts & I appreciated her blunt approach. Especially when waiting the children’s table 😉🤣, she was great with the kids though & made sure they stuck to the rules, which allowed for a pleasant relaxing meal for the Adults table. Thankyou 👍🏻 The food.. was incredible. 8 adults and not one complaint/ disappointment with any aspect, starters or mains (no room for desserts) Between some of starters I remember we we ordered were- whitebait, king prawns, Mussels, all was delicious, but the mussels were something else. Best I’ve ever had. Recommend 100%. Mains we had- Fillet steak, T-bone steak, Ribeye steak, Tomahawk steak, Seabass Absolutely top quality & everything cooked to perfection. Shout out on the chips too, just amazing, not sure why but they were so good. If I didn’t live 3 hours away I’d be here every week. Pics are Screen shots from video so not the best quality,

Had the specials, lobster linguine which was overcooked in a watery tomato sauce. At approximately £30 each, very disappointing main course. Had starters, approximately £8 each, 3 Calamari for one and 3 King prawns for the other. We live in London and this felt completely overpriced. Whilst appreciating the measures put in place regarding COVID 19, the atmosphere was sadly like a damp squib. As an NHS worker it felt mote like a clinical area rather than a relaxing environment.

Great little restaurant, food was amazing and every dish from starter, to main and dessert was delicious. I asked the chef which piece of steak he would order if he was eating. The chef gave his recommendation and he explained that the most expensive piece of steak doesn’t necessarily means it the best. The garlic chicken was so soft and tender, and all the good was piping hot. The COVID measures were second to none. We saw our table being cleaned and it was a through job. Every single customer walking through the door was required to sanitise and they had a separate type of sanitiser for the kids. Would definitely come back here again when we visit Great Yarmouth again.

Where do we start? The service was spot on, the waiting staff and everyone involved are very polite and professional, making you feel right at home straight away. The food was absolutely mind blowing. I had a fillet steak which was cooked to perfection, beautifully soft and melted in the mouth. Proper, well cooked home style chips and glorious onion rings. This meal is right up there with some of the best food I have ever eaten!! My girlfriend had a Ribeye steak, which if it is not done right can be very chewy. No such things at Chico's, cooked to perfection yet again. My Mum had the garlic chicken which she absolutely loved. Top marks all round and we would all highly recommend Chico's to everyone looking for top quality food. There Covid measures are also fantastic keeping everyone safe.

I called to book as I could see they are popular on Trip Advisor… I couldn’t get in the first night or the second but they said they would call me if they had any cancellations which they duly did so we was lucky enough to get a table on our second (and final) night. The food was divine…. So good. Portions are massive. If I return I would have the mussels as a main as they were simply delicious but as a starter the portion was quite big and filled me up which meant I couldn’t do my ribeye justice even though it was one of the nicest steaks I’ve had. My husbands mixed grill was ginormous… I have never seen a pork steak that big… Neither of us could eat the chips or onion rings although somehow my husband made room for pudding! We had 3 diet cokes between us and the bill was about £94 for the 2 of us so not the cheapest meal out but the quality of the food and the great service is well worth it.

The waitress was rude, the steak me and my husband had were fillets and not cooked to our liking as requested, Our steaks were different shapes and sizes. They waitress changed it and then the chef called over and asked us what was wrong with it !! My husband replied over cooked well done as he requested medium. Very overrated and expensive and the worst customer service experience I have ever received. However our child’s chicken nuggets were the best on the menu. Please avoid

Great little place to eat but phone ahead and book as they were very busy. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable we had the seafood sharing platter which was really nice well cooked and comes up in three different stages 1st whitebait calamari and taramasalata with pitta 2nd crab claws and King Prawns 3rd skate wing and salmon with lovelycrispyhomemadechips. Some might say a little bit expensive but you get what you pay for if you want just fish and chips go to a chippie. I particularly liked the fact that the kitchen is open and you walk passed it to get in and out and can see what's going on no hiding outback like most restaurants . I would say give it a try and thanks to all a Chicos great service and food

Delicious fresh seafood , served in a great seafront location with a good atmosphere by attentive and polite staff. Highly recommend the mussels and fresh Seabream. Desserts were tasty and large - those with big appetites only! My only regret was not having the seafood Meze - but that was a dish for 2 that unfortunately no-one else in my family wanted to share 😅. Booking is essential as this is a popular place.
