If you like grease this is your place to go. £40 wasted. 2 out of 4 children refused to eat as the food was swimming in grease. I get its a chip shop and it’s going to be greasy but wow. Mixed meat and chips...with cheese. Swimming. Kebab the pitta was soggy as it had soaked all the grease up. The only thing that wasn’t overly was the chips. Fish & Chips. Oil was stale, Batter wasn't cooked through. Flour on inside. Portion of mushy peas paid for and not supplied. Over £20 for two portions of fish and chips.
After a four hour journey to Airbnb, (for a funeral) we were in a place we did not know, we were tired and hungry, we found the leaflet for golden fry in the welcome pack, we were polite and tried to order, we were met...with abuse because we didn't say before hand that we needed to pay by card, his attitude was one of shock, not what was expected at all! we chose to politely decline, and ordered dominies. Food arrived on time but pizzas were cold delivery driver shouted at me i phoned up to complain they were angry snd unhelpful never ordering ftom there again!
Order a take away looked up the cost as they prefer cash only.... Well it was cold and even thou they say free delivery they still charge you for it.... ring up and complain you get told call the police if not happy we can...charge what we like when we like.... pictures are of the lucky dip prices..... you ask for receipt if you pay for cash you get the excuse of it is the delivery drivers copy only....More
Very rude snotty woman on phone when I complained about missing food. The food was cold and got even colder having to wait for the chips that were missing from the fish and chips I ordered. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
I heard good things about this chippy, so decided to find out for myself. Excellent quality , cooked in fat , which gives it the old fashioned taste I look for. Everything cooked perfectly and a side of scraps too. Friendly staff, not much off...road parking but that's outweighed by the standard of the food.More
Got Cod and Chips from here for dinner one night whilst staying in the area. The fish was cooked perfectly as we're the chips. Service was perfect as was the price.
Very nice and tasty doner wrap. I love kebabs but do not like them in thick naan bread, I prefer wraps and they made it just amazing!! Recommend.
You don’t get what you order it’s a lucky dip but then certainly charge you and then they say it’s not my fault, they always blame everyone else.... really, don’t bother, find someone else to order from.... they are shocking! Had take away delivery tonight, chips were not fully cooked very pale some still hard, burger was tasteless basically a terrible meal the last three orders have been total crap seems to have determinated since lockdown, won't be buying from them again.

If your not ready to take a telephone order, do not pick the phone up. Twice now we have rang and immediatley told "wait one min" which turned into me hanging on for what seemed ages , i found this service very rude and put...the phone down.More
Consistently great food at a very good price and all done with a welcoming smile. It is very popular but despite this the service is usually swift.
Customer service is appalling . Food has gone downhill, I would not reccomend for anyone to come here. Workers are rude over the phone, everytime I order to be delivered it is never right ! Then it's my fault?!
