We dined here on our last night of our holiday, and it was fine food and a suitable conclusion to our vacation.

First class service from Alina and Justin. They made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his seafood linguine (he said it was like a little taste of Italy ) My fish and chips were really tasty....The chips were crispy yet light in the middle and just melted (scrummy! )More

We ate here last week, and had a mixed experience. When we arrived there was a window open opposite our table, and I asked if they could close it as my elderly aunt and I were cold. The answer was no, but they could shut...the door. As we were near the window and not the door that didn't help us, so I ate with my jacket on. I had sole from the specials board, which was well cooked but bland and under seasoned. On of us had seafood pasta, the squid was overcooked. The other two of us, who had belly pork and chicken, were very happy with the food. Service was fine apart from the odd refusal to close the window.More

Loved this place, although a little cosy it’s lovely. The food was very nice as was the wine. We both share a pate starter and then I had fish my hubby a burger…..wonderful. Tried to book again since we have been in town but sadly...booked up. We will deffo be back.More

For a Tuesday night, this place was buzzing. Admittedly, there are not as many restaurants in Grange, when compared to other areas within the Lake District. But the the Estuary is certainly a cut above the rest. Food was excellent and the short rib (starter),...was exceptional. My wife enjoyed the sea bream, and I ordered the lamb rump ~ and both were perfect. This was backed by a good wine list, and attentive service. Nothing to fault here.More

Gorgeous food, lovely ambience and attentive and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning! We were a multi generational family (on holiday), with a disabled dog-& the staff were fantastic, the wine was plentiful and the food was delicious. We ate here mid week and...for Sunday lunch - and both meals were superb!!More

Before I start this review is not about the quality of the food. From the outside, the Bistro looked the ideal place for a romantic meal for two. After booking online. We arived promptly and although busy it looked ideal.....sadly this is not where we...were seated. We were shuffled off to what I can only I can only describe as an overcrowded cloakroom. Along with the other couples who had turned up. This was definitely not what it said on the tin. Our request to move table fell on deaf ears, so sadly we decided we could not stay and promptly left our plans for the evening in tatters. If I could give some feedback to the owners it would be this, I know times are tough in hospitality at the moment but don't get too greedy by packing people in like sardines, it will ultimately backfire on you.More

This is a fabulous place to eat from the brilliant welcome to the wave goodbye at the end. Service exemplary and the food superb quality and beautifully cooked. We feel lucky to have discovered this little gem and hopefully we will be returning soon

What a fantastic find! We took the recommendation from trip advisor and we are so pleased we did. This is a delightful bistro restaurant situated in grange over sands. To be honest I would have placed this as much more than a bistro. It’s run...by a lovely professional hardworking Romanian couple and the food is beautiful in every way. There were 4 of us and we all had something different to eat. Every one of our plates was delicious, tasted really fresh with amazing flavours and beautiful presented. We can only give our high recommendation and certainly worth a busy. What a little gem to find. We travelled from Surrey and I’d drive 9 hours any time to return and eat their yummy chilli muscles again! We ordered muscles, salmon and scallops for starters, steak, sea bass and Salmon for mains and two of their delicious cheese boards and a very yummy chocolate mouse dessert. Totally full to the brim, and very happy! We give this restaurant 10 out of 10!More
