Really enjoyed our lunch here! Good salads, other light meals, soups all delivered efficiently by friendly staff! We took a selection of cakes and breads home from the bakery. All were delicious. My favourite was the rum nicky!

We popped in here to have a cream tea. We were surprised how expensive it was for just 1 scone, whipped cream and a pot of tea at £5.95. Outside it advertised Rodda's clotted cream so was expecting that to be served with the scone....More

What a lovely find. Super atmosphere in this tea shop/bakery. They have an extensive tea and coffee menu. And a tasty range of treats to eat. All served superbly. What a refreshing change. My only complaint. . . . The millon calories I consumed!!!! 😊

Like stepping back into the 1940/50s....this bakery and cafe offers a great selection of home made goodies to take away or dine in, Also, their music in keeping with the ambiance of the cafe, and not, as sometimes the case, overbearingly loud popular Muzak....made a...More

No better place for breakfast than on the outside terrace on a warm summer day. The interior has been refurbished since last we visited as has the bakery shop, but the food and service are as good as ever.

Description
The Hazelmere in Grange over Sands has been owned by The Stubley family for 38 years. Dorothy, the proprietor has set the standards very high and only serves the best quality, locally sourced foods where possible. We have a beautiful Tea House where our meals are served and in the summer months we have the option of eating out on our front of house terrace. We also have a deli bakery on site where you can select delicious take away lunches for you to enjoy in the ornamental gardens across the road or you can eat in our take away courtyard. In the evenings from March up until November the Hazelmere turns into a very high class restaurant, booking is recommended as we do get very busy, exceptional meals produced by our very talented and experienced chefs.
Everything is made in house and our bakers make all the produce through the night so its as fresh as can possibly be when it goes on our counter. We continue to strive to bring to our customers the best products around and take great satisfaction from this. Our excellent teams of waiting on staff and shop and back of house staff ensure the smooth running of such a large business. We look forward to welcoming you to the Hazelmere !
