Shocking customer service

Ordered takeout when arrived cartons had burst open & spilled all in the bottom of the bag. Phoned to complain was very abrupt & would not admit it was there fault. Took photo to proof. Waste of money went straight in the bin.

Ordered chicken tikka masala - the sauce was nice but very thin & not a lot of chicken, both keema pilau & keema nan were bland no spice at all - very disappointed as this place used to be top notch a few years ago- wondering if it’s changed hands

DISGUSTING

Ordered through uber eats,food was due to arrive 7.00pm, recieved 9.00pm after numerous calls, most ignored! Food freezing, curry slightly okay but rice soggy, popadoms like i have never seen before(see photo), the worst ever,so soft, deffo avoid, wouldn't try again!!!

Amazing as usual

We are regular customers and always choose Last Days of the Raj when we get an Indian takeaway. We have always had perfect customer service and our food is always perfect and extremely tasty. Personally I would not listen to the other comments rating this lovely takeaway business “poor”. Lovely lovely food as always!

Not enough meat with the food to expensive for what it is won’t use again the food was average nan was cold I get better curry’s for a cheaper price the delivery was quick that’s about it

Enjoyable meal. Very tasty. Onion bhajis lovely. Tandoori chicken plentiful. One minor point...not a fan of the sauce for onion bhaji /tandoori.

Never again

Have not used this takeaway for a while and will not again - last time used the delivery service and blamed this for the fact the food was cold obviously not as last nights collection was a poor specimen of overcooked to a point of incinerated with the nann bread, hard chipatti and cold food even in a collection order - overpriced - poor quality will not visit again

Half food never arrived, still waiting on refund!

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered took over an hour and half. Driver was given the wrong address by the restaurant. Food wasn’t very hot when it arrived, then I realised one of the main meals was missing. I rang and rang for over an hour and no answer. Got through couple of days later complained and said I could collect the money. It’s out of the way I asked hem to drop it off. He said would speak to the manager and 2 weeks later still not had anything. He didn’t want me to complain and offered a credit towards our next meal. I said here wouldn’t be another after the last one. Will never use them again, dreadful customer service and what food we got wasn’t great. Serves me right for trying a different place. I’ll stick to Jashn in swalwell which serves amazing food and excellent customer service.

Do not order via chef online

I ordered thru ldr's own website partnered with chef online. To be told my card was declined at point of payment. After eating elsewhere they tried then to deliver the food (which was rejected) only to have my initially declined card then charged a day later. Basically stealing money. I will now avoid at all costs, shame to be defrauded by a business I have used and enjoyed for over 10 years

Been going here for years and this meal was unrecognisable to the food I normally receive. Tasteless,watery curries. Luke warm at best !. Will not be returning. Poor poor poor 👎

Disgusting and poor service

Waited over an hour to receive wrong order then had to wait again then forgot some of the order had to wait again over an hour 40 minutes and the food cold disgusting and 3 half potatoes for a Bombay potatoes meal. Very small portions for £22 absolute disgrace never again will I shoo here again

Disgusting meal & disgusting customer service

Ordered vegetable madras & garlic pilau. I only put half of each on my plate and covered the cartons for later The curry tasted bland, totally tasteless with what looked like frozen veg The colour didn't even look right. The rice did not taste of garlic in fact that was bland too. I left what was on my plate and had no intention on going back to what was in my cartons later, so my husband rang up only to be told that they've had no other complaints & that he'd tasted it in the kitchen and it was fine. More or less calling me a liar. I didn't get an apology I was just talked over constantly and insulted. Will not be going there again. Absolutely disgusting food and disgustingly rude staff.

Going down hill

Went here and first of all had to wait a really really long time till food was ready.. Gets food home and let's just say the length of time waited did not mean food was red hot. Was tepid and one curry tasted just like the other. Even though they were different. Not nice at all.

We called here tonight 17/10/18 for a couple of currys, I ordered a Mushroom Madras and Onion Pilau Rice. When we got home I unpacked it and started to serve it. I found the rice that I had ordered but I could hardly read what had been written on my curry carton. I opened it and looked at its contents I could see that it was not madras but there were mushrooms, I tasted what was suppossed to be my curry and it certainly was not madras. I phoned the take-a-way up and asked what I had been given, I was told that they don't make a Vegetable Madras so he told the chef, to make a curry and put mushrooms in it. My meal went in the bin. I had wasted over £18.00p on 2 meals and only one was edible. Never again.

Gave them a second chance about 3 months ago. Having picked up a take away just after Chirstmas that was really bad. It made me and my girlfriend really ill. I decided to give them the benifit of the doubt. What a mistake. Dry lamb Rogan Josh. cold rice. Just not an enjoyable meal. Safe to say I wont be going back.
