Popped in for q Sunday lunch - very busy but the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The potatoes were actually better than any home cooked - really tasty spuds with a crisp outer and fluffy middle cooked to perfection. The generous slices of Roast Lamb were beautifully cooked, well seasoned and delicious. The gravy was just right... More

Recent refurbishment by new owners who also own 'Reef Encounter' Sea Road, Boscombe. Food standard is as excellent as we expected. Staff so helpful. Dogs welcome. What's not to like?

We also had good memories of the previous experiences when this restaurant provided excellent food and service. Following a terrible meal which included raw veg (not the modern type, just raw) we never returned. BUT.......it's changed hands. THe new owner presents really good food at his other place so we await the opening with glee!!!!

I have been a couple of times but neither were good, owner was rude when i complained about food being stone cold, the decor was tired, as was the staff as well. don't think i would be back, as seems now to be closed down, with good reason i expect, there loads of places in christchurch 100 times better than... My wife and I had lunch here and after the experience will not go back. We sat outside and made our selection from the menu. I then went inside and asked the waiter if I ordered inside or not. He told me that he would come out and take the order. We then had a long wait before he came... More

We arrived with a large group of some 15 thirsty people, mid-morning on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday, looking for somewhere to spend 40 minutes over a coffee. The staff at the Copper Skillet weren't too overwhelmed to suddenly find such a number of customers, and despite some inevitable confusion of orders as people changed tables, they coped very well,... Description
A small restaurant that does not offer a massive selection but what they do offer is very good value. A breakfast is about £7 and will last you all day, the main meals looked as good. The service was very good, friendly but not over powering.
