Fantastic little pub. Staff were extremely attentive and approachable. They were confident in helping with my dietary requirements which is comforting as not all hospitality staff are so knowledgable. Food excelled expectations being perfectly hot to add to that presentation was great. I will be...returning soon, a very happy customer!!More

We went for lunch on 4th October. The staff were friendly, the pub was clean and the food was very tasty. Perfect portion sizes and great selection.

Sadly the Old Lane is once again a kindergarten with children scooting around the bar area at 9:30 on a Saturday night. The ladies toilets are in disrepair and pretty disgusting. A very disappointing experience.

The main meal was adequate for the money but the sweets were not on the menu provided and when told what was on offer i ordered syrup sponge. When it arrived it was sticky toffe pudding and when questioned was told they were both one...of the same which isthe strangest answer i have ever heard. Please if you have made a mistake don't miss lead the customer.More

All in all a nice pub, lovely garden. Friendly staff, but Landlady is a bit of a Rottweiler otherwise its ok..

They are doing well under the current restrictions and whilst a restricted menu the fare is solid and nothing is expensive... Main gripe is fact some staff don't follow their own 'in / out' entrance rules or wash their hands / sanitize as often as...should - most staff good... Also, too many people in there NOT social distancing (inside and out)... I would use more if tighter controls but still a good venue... I'd rather sit outside but that will come to an end in Autumn... or the patrons get too close!More

It's had more owners and managers than Leeds Utd and Watford combined but the last few and the last & current team have it spot on... Had a few quickie meals there recently and all good... It is what it is as a Pub but...seems busy more often than not and staff work hard... May it stay this way! Loads of meal deals, curries are fab and great pricing...More

Had a simple birthday lunch with my wife & daddy. Wonderful food & service with a smile. We would all highly recommend this place.

Visited yesterday with three family members for lunch and was impressed with the quality of all our lunches and the amount of vegetarian and vegan choice was excellent. Two of us had mushroom pie with chips and vegetables with gravy which came piping hot and...was delicious (vegan too). The burger and curry was very good too. Service was excellent, the blond haired lady was very polite.More

For the prices the food is good quality. Sunday lunches are great value for money with fresh veg instead frozen as like other places. The staff are always polite and good service.
