We found this excellent gastro pub/ restaurant recently while touring around the River Dart Valley. Great selection of craft ales and wines and a meal of absolute quality with superb service. Will be visiting again very soon!

Great food, really great service and a relaxed and professional vibe. I can't speak highly enough of this place. The staff very relaxed, friendly, cool and efficient. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere perfect. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

Despite this being a relatively new gastro pub business, it is not full of pretensions, the menu is careful designed and limited which is a good thing. Also good value for money and great beers.

I had a couple of rather indifferent meals here back in the summer, but three or four recently have been excellent. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices, I might even forgive the 'ye olde worlde' pub interior design if they keep it up!
