We had a really tasty lite lunch at this cafe in Callander. It was full when we arrived but were quickly shown to a table, drinks were ordered and arrived quickly followed by food. Very tasty soup and panini. The young lady waitress was smiley...and relaxed despite been so busy. Full marks to her. Other staff were busy and efficient. Would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you need a place to eat whilst sheltering from the rain!!More

Found this place by total chance and very glad we did. Each main course was excellent and the service was top notch too. Will go back and will definitely recommend.

The restaurant is a cozy wee place with a beautiful warm log fire, staff are friendly and very quick. Food was delicious, the carrot and coriander soup was gorgeous and the desserts sounded amazing, we just had no room left for one 😂 the place...is obviously very popular as there were a constant stream of people coming in asking for tables which filled up very quickly😋🥪🫖🍰More

Another great visit after a long break. High tea for 4 - as good as remembered ,special mention of the bread/scones/cake slices. Plenty of food for all and loads brought home! Excellent value at under £15 per person. Glad to return and more trips to...follow hopefully soon.More

My elderly mum and sister recently visited the Old Bank Restaurant. Having enjoyed a cup of coffee and some fruit loaf, they left the restaurant only to later discover that my Mum had left behind her walking stick. Despite it being Christmas Eve and being...incredibly busy, when Mum rang them they immediately said that it had been found and that they would be happy to post it to her. Mum received the stick on 29th December and the owners refused to take anything towards the postage cost of £12. This exceptional customer service meant a lot to my mum and deserves recognition.More

We visited the restaurant today. We were told by a very sour faced rude waitress that it was full and would be for a while as people had just got their food. I can accept this, but I can not accept the attitude of the...waitress!More

Stopped here for a quick lunch and was very impressed. My fella and I both had the petite lunch which is an awesome soup and sandwich deal. The sweet potato and chilli soup was delicious and the paninis were really tasty and hot. Perfect winter...warmers for the inclement Scottish weather. Staff were friendly too. Just a shame the room we were sat in was very cold. They did try to rectify this with electric heaters though which was nice and you can always warm up further with the yummy hot chocolatesMore

We visited Calendar and went to the Old Bank for lunch. It was busy but we were able to get a table even though others were turned away as it was full. I had a very nice ham hock terrine for lunch, with a tasty...salad - just a bit disappointed that there was no bread or toast with it. Worth a visit.More

I agree with the others. I think it may be too small. It might be worth contacting the owners just in case we are wrong

Hi, We would be delighted to cater for your daughters bithday Afternoon Tea for her. We have a small restaurant that caters for private parties or she could have it in the main restaurant if preferred.
