Exactly what you want after a chilly day in the Trossachs : super friendly staff, a roaring fire and great food! A wee hidden gem worth seeking out. Thank you to the Byre Inn for looking after us! We'll be back.

Been lots of the times over the years and always loved it. Was closed during our holiday last year so this year we were pleased to find it had re-opened. Full of promises on the phone while booking yet was a totally different experience when...More

Sorry we didn't come up to your expectations. We have a full menu most of the time other than Sundays which is roast dinner. Staff levels are correct for this time of year, we may have just been caught out. We cannot afford extra staff...More

Absolutely agree with all the positive comments here. We were on a bike ride in the incredible Trossachs countryside and what a bonus it was to find the Byre Inn half -way around. The place oozes charm and character and the hosts Jason and Sharon...More

Party of four, evening meal. Drink expensive, £20 for a bottle of house wine, and local beer cloudy, sour tasting. (Was told "it's meant to be cloudy ...."). Food, limited menu, which would have been fine, had the food been ok, but, generally, it wasn't....More

£10 for two small cokes and two even smaller bottled waters. Really? The people running this place are perhaps not quite as clever and funny as they think they are.

We had lunch here after a wonderful cruise on Loch Katrine. All in our large party loved their food. My burger was the most special of all I had on our trip. The service was great. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant.

The pub is very welcoming with a roaring fire, small friendly dog, candles outside lighting the path and candles on the tables. There is a good sized parking area and lovely walks nearby. However, we were disappointed by the poor value for money that the...More
