Congratulations on the set up for dog lovers. Non dog lovers had their own space but did not benefit from.treats, dog bowls, dog baskets or bringing their own toys. Dillon relaxed and chilled as we did. Human food and welcome was outstanding. Be back soon.

I had lunch with my ex wife and her dog at Cafe Circa today, and despite arriving too late for a cooked lunch, we were still offered the option of fish and chips as the chef had batter already made up, and the fryer was still on. This sort of flexibility is a sign of a good restaurant, and was... More

I know Cafe Circa well already from the Antique Centre in Doune so am already a fan. The new addition of the Atrium in Callander has everything - wonderful food, great customer service and beautiful decor. I'll go back and back !

If you find yourself in Callander and fancy a reasonably priced bite to eat, then "DONT " visit cafe circa !! £4.50 for a roll on black pudding!! Really! And as for friendly service? Obviously the new owners are catering to the six figure salary crowd !! It's a cafe , not the ritz ! Drop your prices, not your... More

Thanks for your review Colin, I think advising folks DONT visit us is a bit off,. perhaps this is a great warning to others,. if you DONT read the menu, which clearly states how much things are, it would not have been such a surprise. If you did read the menu and ordered, why complain about the price, as you... More

Lunch was very nice seved very hot and tasty, service was good too. Especially like how dogs are welcome. Even little dog beds! Cakes are amazing too, but was huge i should have taken half of it home. Great menu and great qyality, just like at cafe circa at doune.

Was the Atrium but under new management We holiday in Callander and always went to the Atrium and couldn't fault it We returned on 22nd December for our Xmas break not realising it had changed hands. The interior has been changed and is fantastic. We were unsure if the food quality would change. We were not disappointed. The staff were... More

This used to be a great restaurant until change of management. Prices have gone up and now allow dogs in the restaurant. Food was nothing to write home about and was mediocre. Was a smell of wet dogs so I will not use again as there is other good restaurants in the area.

Management response:

Thanks for your take on our restaurant. Not everyone is a dog lover, that's why we have a separate area at the far end of the balcony. its your choice if you sit at the far end with the dog lovers who, by the way, are thrilled that there is somewhere that caters for their needs. Yes there are lots... More

Aka. Cafe Circa. High quality food. Home made soup and sandwiches for under £9. Everything fresh. Mac and cheese for kids was excellent. Great service. Excellent coffee. Dog friendly section too. Highly recommended.

The Atrium is no more! It has changed hands and, as of this week, is known as Cafe Circa. Staff are lovely and the decor is fresh and bright but the menu is sparse and fairly narrow in range. This may be because they are newly open and are building up their range. Nevertheless, staff were very helpful and flexible... More

Description
Cafe Circa at the Atrium is a smart table service licenced restaurant, newly refurbished and spacious with comfortable seating and couches. The relaxing warm dining room has a great ambiance and nice views of Ben Ledi and the Crags. The food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, gluten free dining is the norm not the exception. Our menu is small and seasonal, guaranteed fresh. We use quality meats from an award winning local butcher and fresh Scottish landed fish from award winning local fish monger. The Home baking is done in-house daily and won a Scottish baking award last year.
