We had an expensive but lovely lunch in the tearoom. £32 for 4 - 2 soup, mac n cheese and a portion of chips, but well worth it. Accompaniments and choices are excellent. Also paid a visit to the bakery. Tear and share loaf and the choice of pies/ pastries are great and everything we tried was delicious and a... More

Arrived at 11am and the cafè was full so we waited by the coffee machine until a table was free (couple of people were paying) a couple of members of staff didn't even acknowledge us or greet us with a smile we actually felt quite unwelcome. When we sat down we waited to order but the waitress went on to... More

We stopped here for lunch after a recommendation for both a friend and a tour guide and were not disappointed. My husband had the steak and haggis pie and I had a wonderful vegetarian sandwich. We also bought a loaf of bread and some pastries to take with us on the road. We would stop in again if the opportunity... More

After sampling Mhor bread in other shops I was very keen to try out their cakes and pies. A bit disappointed if I'm honest, I love an empire biscuit, they where burnt looking. We did buy rhubarb tarts which were ok, but dry. Staff where not friendly, looked fed up! This was a Saturday lunchtime in April. The summer season... More

The staff was really rude. One of the old ladies which I think is the owner was pressuring us to order and we were the only ones in the store at that moment , she also said no , you can't take any pictures when I was about to take one of the bread , and I was like "... More

My son and I shared a warm and flavourful steak and haggis scotch pie with a cuppa tea. I can't tell you how much I adore scotch pies. The pastry was tender, flaky, and buttery ...melting in my mouth. My only regret is that I will not have an opportunity to taste test more pastries. The display was filled with... More

Easily found in the Main Street. Mhor produces fine baked products, cakes, biscuits pies and splendid breads and rolls. The also have a great fish and chip shop across the street. It is quality and style and worth the extra.

Dropped in here for a coffee during a morning visit to Calendar, Mhor had been recommended by a friend. The tearoom was busy, but plenty of room. 'Illy' coffee served here; we didn't have anything to eat but the cakes/sandwiches etc looked very good. Take-out was busy too; this must be a favourite place for both visitors and locals in...
