Fabulous food. We had breaded Brie and squid. For mains belly pork, fish and chips and shepherds pie. All excellent. My friend and I said it was the best we have eaten. Lovely friendly staff. Especially the young girl behind the bar and waitress.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here on Xmas eve, with a nice selection of ales. Steeped in history, one of several pubs in the local area we'd recommend!

My Mother wanted to particularly find this pub, having visited there in the past with her husband. My sisters & I took her for a drink where we played dominoes & fulfilled a wish in the absence of my late Father.
