Great pub food, tasty home made classics such as burgers and pies done in a contemporary way. The waiting staff were all very friendly and efficient. Lovely food and chilled out atmosphere, we had a very enjoyable Friday night here.

This was a very welcome oasis after a long sunny walk around the New Forest. Reasonably priced very fresh and tasty food. Nice sunny garden .(..although cringed to see an old piano being used as an outdoor plant shelf!) . The Foresters platter with its black pudding scotch egg was scrummy...served with the egg perfectly runny in the middle and... More

We were shown to a nice corner table with plenty of room. the waitress was very smiley and nice and the service was good. Not much on the menu for me, a vegetarian, so I opted for the... More

Had a Sunday lunch at this place. It was amazing. A real find in the middle of the new forest. It was mothers day so very busy but they got us a table and you are allowed to bring your dog in. They even have him some biscuits too which was a nice touch. The dinner was stunning. The lamb... More

My husband and I popped in on our way back from a long walk and had the most warm welcoming welcome at the pub. Very friendly. Good beer and we had the Foresters Sharing Platters which was delicious. The black pudding scotch egg was particularly delicious. We'll definitely visit again if we find ourselves in the area.

I visited here with friends after a long dog walk near Setley Pond. We had a burger, pulled pork ciabatta and sausage and mash between us and all of the food was really lovely. I would have preferred my food on a plate rather than a board and flower pot for the chips but I'm a big fan of simple... More

Dropped into the Filly Inn for lunch. The food was excellent although a bit over priced. Probably will not return.
