Smiley, friendly, swift service. To have a choice of 3 varieties of gluten free scones was simply wonderful. Did justice to the cheese and fruit ones. Had a lovely pot of Lapsang Souchong to go with it. All tea shops should be like this.

First place we came across heading in from a long walk, so ravenously we ditched bags and ordered from the traditional cafe menu: soups, ploughmans, sandwiches and jacket spuds. Ok, not sophisticated, but come on, this is a cafe. It was delicious! Amazing cheese scones, well dressed salads, tasty soup, locally sourced produce. We stayed for cakes afterwards, not like... Visited here last year and were bowled over by the delicious home-made cakes. Came to the New Forest again in November this year and just had to revisit Rosie Lea's! We were greeted with a warm welcome and, this time we had 2 lattes which were delicious and salted caramel cake and fruit scone (served warm) with jam & cream.... More

I decided to try this place on the recommendation of a Coeliac friend who had been here. She told me that there were 3 types of GF scone (plain, fruit and cheese) available...a choice for GF options!! There were also other things on the menu that were GF too including some savoury and some cakes. I went with my mother... More

The staff are happy and polite and took time to explain all the baked lovelieness to us so that we could choose.... it took us ages as we wanted all of it. In... More

We stopped here for lunch. We were greeted with a smile and a menu. This is a small venue and it appears to be managed by two enthusiastic and friendly young people. The food is wholesome, much of it cooked and prepared on the premises. They were happy to help me with my food allergies, supplying gluten free bread and... More
