Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Upon arrival we were seated straight away! However, it took 20 minutes for our food order to be taken and then when our starters came, one was forgotten. It then came swiftly after which was good! But then we had to wait a further 40...minutes after finishing our starters for two pizzas. All in all, we were there two hours, for two pizzas and an arancini (the other starter was bread). We had come to celebrate but left feeling rather deflated, a whole lot of waiting around.More

After reading some of the negative reviews on here, we were a little worried. However, our experience of the restaurant was very positive. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and good size portions. The restaurant facilities are clean. Decor tasteful and modern....Yes, it is noisy but this is an old banking hall, so noise is expected. It did not detract from the good atmosphere or prevent us from having a conversation. The tables have enough space between them, that you didn't feel too close to other diners.More

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service at a reasonable price. The pizza was on a thin crust with a fresh topping. The seafood linguini was outstanding!

Even on a busy Saturday evening, we experienced excellent service and food to match. This restaurant had been recommended to us by our hosts (we were staying locally) and it did not disappoint.

Fabulous 3 course set weekday lunch today meeting up with old friends who are down on holiday in Appledore. I can’t rate highly enough how brilliant it was, food great, ambience great, staff great. Amazing value as well. Highly recommend and will be back.

Went today & had the set lunch menu. I have to say fabulous value for money and the food was excellent. The sea bass & tirramassu was particularly good.

We stopped for dinner at Belluno and so glad we did. The staff were very attentive and did all they could to ensure we had a great evening. We couldn’t fault the food either, started and mains were super tasty, well seasoned and cooked just...how we asked. Highly recommend!More

We had enjoyed many evenings in the old restaurant which had a family trattoria feel. Tried the new restaurant with friends. It is a large barn of a place which was full. There was no atmosphere and it was so noisy we couldn't hear conversation...with our friends. The service was slow, and later arrivals were served before us. When our food eventually arrived, we were halfway through our mains before our sides arrived. We are locals but will not return.More

Booked Belluno last minute for a table for two last Saturday. I understand that with it being bank holiday the restaurant would be busy and we were quite happy with waiting at the bar and having a drink before being seated. Our table was booked...for 9pm however by the time we had been seated it was 10.15pm.. the staff were lovely and consistently checked in to acknowledge that we had been waiting a while and they would seat us as soon as possible. They did also give us our 3 drinks for free which we did appreciate as we had waited for our reservation for over 1 hour. I appreciate the restaurant was busy however, there were plenty of tables waiting to have their plates cleared away, pay their bills etc for well over 20 minutes at a time. From observation, If this was prioritised by staff, then more tables would be seated closer to their booking time rather than a long queue of unhappy customers out of the door for over 1 hour. When eventually seated, we ordered fairly quickly which was great as we were famished at this point. We ordered: -Garlic bread & cheese - amazing 10/10 -2x sirloin steaks medium and medium rare - when the steaks arrived both were literally BLUE! We do not mind our steak being slightly undercooked however, it was absolutely absurd how seriously BLUE these steaks were.. freezing cold in the middle and genuinely raw, just seared on the outside. We sent one back but by the time it had arrived back, the other meal was cold and we were just extremely hungry and frustrated at this point. We were offered free cocktails, dessert, more drinks etc but it was so late at this point we just wanted to leave. The steaks were not compensated for even though we didn’t actually eat them.More

Thank you for your review. I was the Manager who dealt with your issues on Saturday night. Firstly I completely understand that waiting for a table for so long is unacceptable, however we had a number of larger tables turn up late in the first...More

1st time and didn't disappoint, fab service from the staff, excellent cocktails and excellent food. Shown to our table straight away as we had pre booked which I recommend as they do get busy. Children's menu was good, boys enjoyed their starters, main and their...puddings. Main menu something for everyone, didn't have to wait long for food however we did go at 5pm so might be longer when busier. Thank you to the wonderful staff for a lovely time.More

Waitress is really friendly and nice but food very disappointing. We’ve been before and it was very nice but this time not good at all. The Ravioli has got even smaller and had hardly any sauce on it. My husband’s Calzone was very doughy and...had hardly any meat balls or filling, it was all crust. He said he felt like he was eating bread. My tiramisu was tasty. First two times food was really nice but poor this time. Has really put us off coming back. Very disappointed.More
