Very expensive for very average food, the prawn toast tasted more of oil than prawn and the chefs sauce on the chow mien was a random bland white sauce

Nothing good about this place, overpriced, poor service and the food is what I would have thought Chinese should have tasted like in the 1970s. I ordered special chow main, this consisted of noodles, bean sprouts, low quality large lumps of chicken, tasteless roast pork...and three small prawns, no other fresh veg and some odd white sauce dribbled on top ( maybe corn syrup?). We had deep fried freezer bag won tons with cheap jar sauce for a starter no garnish. Partner had crispy fried chicken (it was crispy, tick) with the same jar sauce and some raw onions. That lot and two cokes £48! Service was terrible, left us waiting 20mins after finishing, took the plates and did not ask if we wanted anything else or any more drinks. Had to go and pay at the counter. Another couple sat looking dissatisfied and also awaiting some attention from the staff, no excuse as there were only 7 people there on a Saturday night. Not a great experience and not one I will ever repeat.More

When we arrived (earlier than the time given to collect), the food was sat waiting in an insulating bag to the side of the counter. When we got home, the food was barely warm and was cold after plating up. The portion sizes were very...small for a high price. The food was poor quality. Chewy, undercooked chicken and raw vegetables. Will not be returning.More

First rate Chinese Takeaway. Haven't eaten in house yet but the food they produce is excellent. Everything fresh, the vegetables always crisp and the sauces are absolutely wonderful.

I ordered a Takeaway from this restaurant this evening. The lady on the phone was very polite, helpful and knew the menu. It was delivered 20 minutes before expected which was good however sadly the food was very disappointing dispite an hours wait and not...at all worth the £16.50 I paid for it. I ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup which was nice and as I would expect (no added artificial sweeteners) When it came to the main (Singapore Veg Rice Noodles) The presentation was poor and dull. The brochli was cooked well with a bite however the noodles were a dull brown colour and there wasnt enough vegetables. Not much flavour. I only saw the odd tiny bit of pepper. I threw it in the bin after a few mouthfuls. Then I had a side order of spare ribs without bbq sause. Barely any meat, dry and very fatty. I wouldn't even feed this to my cat! Food was warm on delivery and the portion sizes were disgusting for the price you pay. Salt and pepper chips were dry, tasteless and looked like they were cooked over a week ago. We had a takeaway from here while on holiday in Westward Ho and it was absolutely delicious! I had Kung po prawns which were perfectly spiced and packed full with veg. I didn't think it was overly expensive and service was quick and friendly. Highly...recommended.More

We visited this Chinese restaurant as our usual westward ho holiday Chinese haunts have all become take away only. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The service and the price. We ordered crispy duck to share. This was served off bone...with 12 pancakes and there was ample. For mains crispy shredded chicken. Beef in pepper and black bean sauce. Veg chow mein. Chicken chop suey with just 2 egg fried rice. The chicken was moist. The beef tender. Everything that came out was very nice and there was ample rice for 2 with a 3rd person Sharing some.More

Amazing food and service very impressed! Really fussy with Chinese food and this was so good! Lovely restaurant and if we lived local would definitely visit again regularly

Easy to park across the road we popped in here for a quick Chinese on the way home. Excellent food although its a bit on the pricey side compared to other Chinese Restaurants we have been to. All in all though its pretty good, and...we would go back.More
