I stuck to the table I was eating at, there was part of a paper napkin stuck on the table. Thetables need a ggod clean There was that much fat on the table I played noughts and crosses on the fat. ( I lost)

Very nice place to enjoy sit down Fish and Chips. The Haddock and Chips with Mushy Peas was very tasty. Other dishes are also available. Washed down with a nice bottle of ale.

Always brilliant!! Went and ordered what we wanted. Had a short wait due to being a queue. Placed my order with a lady that I assume was undergoing training as the usual member of staff that took orders was supervising her. Once the items were...ready, my order was wrapped in paper and placed into a carrier bag and to me. Unfortunately my order was missing 2 servings of curry sauce didn't get upset about it nor going to mark them down for this as always been spot on before, and I should've noticed that the curry sauces were missing from the bag before I left the shop. Probably a miscommunication between staff, errors do occur. :)More

We have been getting our fish and chips from the Pocklington shop for some years, however, without a doubt the fish and chips on Saturday were the BEST EVER. Crispy, tasty, gorgeous!

Have been a regular customer for years, last two visits to both chip shops in Driffield have been disappointing. Not sure if they have changed their batter recipe, but on both occasions the batter was under cooked on the inside resulting in a soggy, doughy...mess. It’s an expensive meal now and the standard is not good enough. Will be driving to Wetwang instead.More

I love fish and chips and was told this was the place to come. So, found this one on Scarborough Road, Driffield...apparenlty they have a few, but it looked nice with very friendly staff. Took them to eat in the near by park.....what a let...down. Swimming in grease and I am not sure what fish it was but it certainly didn't taste like cod or haddock...more like rubber (taste, not texture). Went straight in the bin. My daughter thought she was actually going to be sick after a few mouth fulls. Anyway, won;t be going there again. Off to Dominoes now.More

We regularly visit Stuarts’ restaurant in Driffield and the food and the service are always of a consistently high standard. Last weekend we hired Stuarts outside catering for our daughter’s wedding and we were not disappointed. The two fryers/servers had 50 guests eating in record...time and were so helpful and friendly. The guests were raving about the food, so I guess we can say it was a total success! They were all further impressed by the sausage and bacon butties served up by Stuarts in the evening. All in all we are so pleased that we chose Stuarts to enhance our special celebration.More

Grabbed a takeaway from here on a Saturday evening. Was not disappointed...the fish was slightly greasy but pure white and the chips crispy, with a side serving of mushy peas to round it off. Lovely and good value for money.

We've just had the best fish and chips from Norwood! It seriously was the best we've ever had from there! Thank you and a perfect British tea for today - yum!

Need I say much more than the title. The fish was more like the size of white bait, it was greasy it was expensive. Will NOT be going there again. This was Scarborough Road, Driffield. Also, VERY "covid" rules still...one in one out...barriers up ???...I honestly feel sick after eating HALF of it, before throwing the rest in the bin.More

Tried here for a change to my favourite spot. I was pleasantly surprised on the quality, size and price. Lovely crisp batter, good sized chips and tasty mushy peas as well. Even though a Friday evening, no delays in getting our dinner!
